Since you seem to enjoy going back in time a few seconds to rewrite my posts to what you want to happen, I did the same to you.

You wrote the missle hit the shield and was wrecked... you wrote you disabled two othe rmissles and destoryed another...

I rewrote that as 3 missles were destroyed, taking out a portion of the fighters launched against them as well.... I rewrote that your hastily raised shields cut my missle in half, having reached the outer atmosphere already.

...Okay? Seriously, man, I just wanted to get the point across that going straight from the edge of the system to death for all doesn't give me my fair chance to react. I don't think 'rewriting me back' or some such thing solves anything. Are you sure you couldn't consider just letting this planet get by you and trying your best on the next ones? The point has been made that the missiles aren't insta-kill weapons, and we can proceed from there?

First off, you did insta-kill them anyways, so the point wasn't proven at all. It was all I could do to illustrate it back to you to write an equivalent number of units destroyed back at you to show you what it means, to show you what it means to roleplay damages out and not just "I fired my weapons and they did this."

As for the world, you suggested that TNO might hand over the cure, shoot for that then. I gave the timer as a rough estimate of total world phage coverage, so we would know just how long we had to work with IC. However long it takes IC for that to happen, or however long after that it takes for it to reach infected worlds is up to the RP.

That clock doesn't take into things like Quarentines, biological first response and clean-up, civilian medical sensors, Ion weapons, or panacea, right? Though it's currently unknown, if I'm not mistaken an Ion weapon fries these suckers by the fistful. Just for future reference.

No it doesn't, but I dont see quaruntines as being much effective as its not restricted to race. It works just as well on a dog or a blade of grass as it does people. Read the thread, its falling through the sky, hasn't even hit the ground yet. Its spreading through the wind, first response is hardly a concern at the moment.

You already know about Panacea, Sensors wont help you much and as for Ions... Phage is only half technological, the other half is biological, so while Ions might hurt it, they wont stop it. That is, not unless your going to use Ion weapons, then by full means fry the infected people along with the Phage.
