I have been busy. I have been away. I have been lazy.

I will continue to be so. I am those things by nature.

However, I hope to return to more active RPing in the near future. The Bespin and Almania threads, in particular, are still ongoing.

Thank you for your time.

Actually, this reminds me of something relatively important.

You are still in the Rorche Asteroid takeover thread. Since you have YET to reply, I would advise either removing yourself so we can get on (about time, it would be) or becoming active enough that we need not wait weeks for replies.

In fact, considering the aggressive nature of your actions, perhaps a seventy-two hour rule type action is in order?

That's the other one.

To be honest, I hadn't noticed Milkshake had made a reply. I thought I was still waiting on that.

I'll have something up post haste.

My apologies.

I should add: I think stating unilaterally that the Verpine are planning to fight the Empire is rather unfair of you. The Coalition does not control the system yet, and as such the citizens thereof are completely free to do what they will.

I would say, in all fairness (and liklihood) they would remain steadfastly neutral, rather than incur the wrath of the Empire.

Indeed - but recall that you have annexed their location and are threatening force. The only way to prevent such brutal behaviour - as well as the racism for which the Empire is known for - would be to form at least a temporary alliance with the Coalition.

And? Fighting the Empire is suicide. There's a good reason so many people where afraid to join the Rebellion - the Empire would have crushed them. Whether they love or hate the Empire is irrelevent, I highly doubt they're going to get themselves killed by fighting them.

That sounds more like Imperial Propaganda, in reality and practice, many people recognize the strength of the Empire but not as an absolute.

The fledgling New Republic gathered many worlds to it's banner just because it existed, regardless of how powerful the Empire still was when put next to the new government. Thus, we can reason that the Verpine might think it the better option to join with the Coalition - a relatively powerful government - then just submitting to the Empire. They have more then a reasonable chance of success with us.

Anyways, I would reccomend just going ahead with the takeover as it is. It appears Fraktusk had a plot in mind already, which you may be disrupting - if I recall, you once were quite upset by people interrupting the flow of your stories for various takeovers, this is in fact no different.

I definately did not say that the Verpine were planning to fight the Empire.

They readied their weapons because their general populace thought that it was necessary for one reason or another. I said that they did not remotely want to fight.

Regardless, Dolash is right. We should just keep going with the takeover as it is.

Viva la Coalition!

I said it then, Dolash, and I'll say it now. That's because you were interupting not only every TNO takeover, but every TNO thread for that matter (even storyline threads you had no place in), for the hell of it.

I've already explained, OOC and IC, TNO's reasoning in our actions.

kthxbye
