gue; which story ?

fyi @ all; tempest contains selections from the poem "basket", among others, by leonard cohen. it can be found in the new collection "book of longing", which is pretty solid work. if you like that sort of thing, and chances are that you distinctly do not, you should buy it.

EDIT: Having done multiple searches across google and the old TRF board of all the gash names I can remember... all three of them (Gash Jiren, Theren Gevel and Viryn Quell)... I come up with nothing...

But I remember it as an awesome short, post apocolyptic USA, small towns defended by men at the gates, shooting invaders in the grass (Chinese comes to mind for some reason) one of them is ordered to retrive something valuable, you find out later that they are in the ruins of the pentagon, retrieving a nuke... Im not sure but I think they blow themselves up... I was reading parts of the Left Behind series back then, could be mixing up my stories here, but pretty sure it involved a bit of the afterlife...

It may have been on his website. I believe there were writings posted there at one point.

Welcome Back, Yossarian.

Yeah.. I sort of remember that. But I think, like Heir said, he posted on the board somewhere.

Heir, it was probably eaten by ezBoard. All of what was on ezBoard at the time of the move is on TRF. Anything that fell off of page 20 is gone gone gone. Anthing that was on ezboard prior to June of 2005 is also gone gone gone.

yeah, i still have copies of most of my old stories. i don't know though, a lot of that shit was written really quickly in a bizarre psychological state and consequently makes me sound like a bit of a wacko. i'll see if i can find it.
