Technically, Vonta, Kal, I think I could claim that I recieved Aing-Ti tech from my takeover.

Why, you ask?

Because Imperial Expansion (and its storyline) started on the 25th of November. Vonta's RP started on the 17th of December.

That means that my encounter with the Shara-Ti happened before Vonta claimed the Aing-Ti homeworld as his "property".

Does this mean I intend to do so?

No. It is merely something to keep in mind. If I wish to aquire Aing-Ti technology, I will do a suitable roleplay in order to do so.

But, again, because my RP is set further back in the timeline than Vonta's, I would submit that aquiring said tech from the Shara-Ti is entirely within the rules.

As would be discovering the Aing-Ti homeworld, but again with a suitable roleplay to accompany it.

Just something to keep in mind.

"Using the group for anything but storylines would be a definite no.

As would using Aing tii ships or Aing tii tech.

I'm not going to rule finding the Aing tii homeworld illegal; if he were to roleplay it out, I don't see why I would throw it out. "

Ahnk so the above is not true based on what Drayson said.

Well as such...

If we are talking storylines for my takeover.

My storyline for my take over started in my takeovers of the Almanian moons.

Started on September 16.

So by that logic that my storyline precedes yours you cannot use your shara-ti as such becuase my story line involving the take over of the Aing-tii started before your thread even started.

Again just something to keep in mind.

As such no one can just RP meeting ships from the Aing-tii because IC wise I control everything that involves the Aing-tii now.

Personally, I disagree.

Just because TNO owns Csilla does not mean they control everything that involves the Chiss.

There have been several cool rp's done with offshoots or whatnot with Chiss characters.

We don't consider ourselves to have a monopoly on the Chiss Race.

The Aing-ti are only known to be found at their home planet.

Chiss are known to travel throughout the known universe. Aing-tii, in canon, have stayed solitary and to them selves with only a few rare exceptions. Sticking to traveling long term from a base of operations, AKA their home world.

You would find them no where else according to canon between their travels.

I am trying to establish a given history with the Aing-tii to use at TRF.

Something like this completely undermines what I am trying to do.

Lets take another example of a unique species and tech situation that can be found no where else in the galaxey except for their home planet.

Zenoma Zecot.

Can anyone just go to the planet and RP getting intel from NPCs from the planet or getting technology from the planet without having TTR permission.

As it has been stated when I asked about getting a Jabitha class ship from the planet.

Flatly, I was told no.

I could not get said ship from the living planet without the owners permission.

Additionally I was told that I could not RP members from that planet because TTR had dominion over it. I could not even visit the planet without permission.

I also told you the reason behind my saying you could not create a character from there, get a ship from there, or visit the planet. Zonama Sekot is off limits and for all anyone else knows IC, as far as I know other than Dakkon, no one knows the planet even exhists.
