So you prefer your religion to be unorganized?

That, Kas, is a very, very stupid question.

Not really. You say you mock organized religion, I ask you if you prefer your religion unorganized - simply asking confirmation to what you stated.

I prefer to be able to think what I like, and not have the constant threat of "do as I say or go to Hell" hovering over me.

I think how I like, but I prefer to have guidelines to follow and a code of conduct to keep rather than simply splatter my life in any direction I wish, on a whim.

If you're getting the 'do as I say or go to hell' thing from the Christians around you, man, find a real Church and leave the posers to themselves.

I think the thing is, not to have your religion unorganised, but to have religion at all.

Good luck. You'll be fine, don't worry, everything, no matter how bad, has to get sorted out sooner or later.

Well.... then either:

A. There is no God and when we die, everyone diddling around with whatever beliefs they promote will cry because it's all been just a big waste of time... (focussing on other things instead of what's really important, like self... tsk tsk).

or

B. There is a God and everyone who plays the game of higher criticism or feels they know better than God with whatever short spit of time they call a lifespan will be in for a big surprise when they find out that really, God couldn't give a damn that you don't give a damn about him and smites everybody.

All I know is, I wish Gue well and hope it all works out.
