For each 100m, there are 50 cannons, placed evenly around the ship. So for a 400m ship, it would be 200 cannons, and for a 1000m ship it would be 500 cannons.

The range is like 2km. Long range missile attacks are defined by anything farther then 1km, short range is anything shorter then 1km.

This gun fires four times a second, which is slightly faster then a normal turbolaser or laser cannon, and two direct hits will destroy a concussion missile or proton torpedo. If it is an advanced concussion missile or heavy proton torpedo, you need four hits to destroy it. These can not destroy Diamond Boron Missile, as they have better armor, and they can not be used against starfighters under any circumstance.

They approved it on the basis that, assuming it's able to strike a missile twice, the effects are as you stated.

It's still physically impossible to do that.

Jan, could you edit those specs into the first post. I did not realize your system including things not in the first post. It would make things easier when you link the R&D in the future for other rp's.
