Recently I was scanning through the planet list and noticed the section of "various in character groups" at the bottom. Would I be correct in assuming that this section is NPC groups that can be controlled/influenced by any players provided it doesnt directly contradict what has been previously written? (similar to Smarts and Omnae both doing stuff with the League of Nations that are going against each others interests)

Specifically I was looking at the League of Companies and Farfalen.

That was the idea... the Union has broken up into this League of Companies ...it is assuming the top dogs disappeared leaving the lower level bosses to fend for themselves so it is still a criminal organization.
