General Garm Bel Iblis

With the success of such programs as Labor Assist and Citizen Youth, we find within the Empire a level of solidarity unsurpasssed. With government provided medical and health care offered to it's citizens, the security of the Empire has never been more complete.

Today, in a grand gesture towards that solidarity such officials as Simon Kaine and Grand Moff Zell (retired) held a special celebration of the soldier that was, above all, Imperial at heart.

General Garm Bel Iblis was known as a passionate man and, using his Imperial given freedom of action to speak out against what he saw were very real problems facing the Imperial government, was also a man of action.

He took no part in the Jedi Uprisings. Influenced by corrupt and inept leadership, the Jedi Order had strayed from it's original teaches and had mired the Old Republic in a most devestating war, the Clone War. Mace Windu's prophetic words that they could not fight a war were, for then-Chancellor Palpatine, spot on. For the attacks (even above Coruscant itself!) were sure proof that the Jedi of the time could not fight a war.

It was the Grand Army of the Republic who enjoyed the support of such notables as General Iblis who would inevitably form the core of the Grand Imperial Army.

Even then, the General was loath to disrupt the security of the Empire refusing to be tied to the soothing words of Mon Mothma. Early on, his perceptiveness kept him separate from Mon Mothma's disruptive and terrorist activities.

And even if his ideological vision was not always in line with the New Order of the time, his refusal to carry an already devestating civil war to the citizens of the Empire helped save numerous lives.

A respected tactician and notable warrior, his death was mourned by all Imperials for he was a man that exemplified the best of what humanity has to offer the galaxy.

In a rare form of nostalgia, Azrael Zell opened up his insights in a man he had known from that earlier, swashbuckling time. "Yeah, I remember he beat me three times straight in a game of Dejarik." Chuckling, he added, "He was a cocksucker for sure," drawing enthusiastic laughs from the Corellian audience.

The Iblis family has been wrought with tragedy as his wife had been killed in an overzealous CorSec raid to capture the infamous Corellian. It was known that General Iblis' ideas would be perverted by divisive rebels and so the Emperor had hoped to contain the man peaceably, even going so far as to allow his friends in CorSec to bring him in. Whatever happened, either rebel induced or accidental, his wife was killed in the struggle and all mourned her death.

Iblis Family Reunion and Anniversary of Wenda Iblis' Death (Kyle Absent)

The Iblis family has enjoyed immense support from the Empire as a seen in an undated photo of a reunion during the prosperity of the Empire's return. The fall of the New Republic's ideology left the planet bankrupt and in ruin and it was Simon Kaine's liberation of the planet from this anarchy that helped save the Iblis family.

In his waning years, Garm made peace with the New Order and had come to enjoy what his fellow humans were trying to bring about. A world... a galaxy of peace and security. The end of his life was happy and content.

The one regret of General Iblis was the fact that he had not known his son who had been manipulated by Rebel propaganda even being trained to kill at an early age. Even with such hatred in his heart, Garm Iblis' son, Kyle knew fame as an Iblis. And so, it is with a hurt heart on all of Corellia that his son has gone missing lured away once more to a cause that was not his father's.

In a lighter moment, Azrael Zell commented that he had courted Wenda before Garm came onto the scene and so perhaps this scallywag Kyle was his bastard. A comforting thought for who wants the offspring of their hero's loins to be a failure?

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of the man claiming to be Kyle Iblis, please inform your local Jedi Corps office or CorSec authority.

Together we are stronger. Together Corellia is stronger, richer and more powerful than ever before.

Praise the Corellians!

Praise their Governor, Lupercus Darksword!

Praise the Empire!

Gloria Imperium!
