"This is Bill Couper of GNN, brining you the seven oclock news. We have a shocking report. The Rogue Empire seems to be building a Death Star. We all thought that we were finished with it after the original Emperor died, but Emperor Fearsons seems to have the same love for superweapons as Emperor Palpetine did. The Iron Fist Empire is much to weak to defeat such a large foe as The Ropgue Empire, but they assure us that they have contacted many news networks, so that somebody with more power can defeat The Rogue Empire, once and for all, while blowing up the Death Star. The Death Star is being built at the remote planet Hoth, with many ships, and mines defending it. That is your seven oclock new, brought to you by the Galactic New Network, the new network that brings the informaiton quicker then any otehr network. This is Bill Couper, signing off."

Question...how would IFE know about a Death Star they couldn't even see through the barrage of laser fire? That their forces couldn't transmit the data from because they were all dead or dying?

Fearsons, just give up okay? A Death Star isn't easy to hide.

IFE saw the DS.

Get over it.

@#%$ you Owen. If you want to find something that's so top secret you'd better have a damn good reason for finding it. The Rebellion didn't even find the second Death Star until Xizor convinced Palp to give the plans to them. So @#%$ yea! You can't just randomly pop into a system, guess that what you see is a Star Destroyer, and then post it all over the galaxy. It doesn't work that way.

OOC: I know whats been said about arguing here, but as much as Id hate to defend chadd

The empire once hid 2 DS's in Coruscant orbit, so that says alot about how easy it is to hide these babys

OOC:

The Empire has a lot more resources than Chadd- speaking of which, if a Star Destroyer is visible from space, why wouldn't two Death Stars be?

Come on. The Coruscant DS' were probably from comics. All sorts of unkosher crap happens in there.

Chadd: You can't hide a Death Star. The influx of materials TRE would be taking in to build such a thing would alert everyone, even if seeing the damn thing wouldn't be.

Gash you can hide its construction through several means:

a) Propaganda

b) Deceit

c) Erasing of documents

d) False Documents etc. etc.

The Death Star is WAY out where obviously it cannot just be found. If he did an actual RP to find it, like it was ORIGINALLY agreed, I would have no issues whatsoever, but this was him accidentally dropping in system and suddenly seeing through 10,000 mines, an asteroid field, and about 300 ships to see clearly something that doesn't quite resemble a Death Star yet (due to its current progress), which is then hidden behind three shipyards.

Chadd, god damnit, you frustrate me.

LISTEN.

YOU ARE WRONG.

THE DEATH STAR CAN BE FOUND.

YOU ARE NOT JESUS.

YOU CANNOT HIDE SOMETHING THAT BIG FOREVER.

IT IS THAT WAY BECAUSE I SAID SO.

END OF STORY.

Gash... Chadd is only posing extremely logical points. I understand you are frustrated... but all's he is saying is asking is for a reasonable RP of finding the DS. You seriously think Snowkans pathetic 1 paragraph of accidentally arriving in the Hoth system and finding the Death Star constitutes a good RP devoted to finding the location or even existance of the battle station?

Sure, you've got the final ruling, but you're beind ridiculous.
