A Lost Archived Interview

An excited young man comes on with an eager smile.

"More news in the way of historical documents. Deep in Despayre's library vault we have found a lost and thought destroyed interview with a high representative of the Inner Sanctum of the Sith Cloning Department! Here it is:

Interviewer: <the young Imperial officer taps his papers across the table and looks up at her, clearing his throat to begin>

Interviewer: I'm glad you came to speak to me today, we were very intent on learning a bit about what you do

Emily: I'm glad you asked me here. My job in itself is often very hard work... a chance to get out and solicize, even in a formal interview is always nice.
Interviewer: I will begin the interview quite simply...what is your name and why are you here?

Emily: My name is Emily Montague... I'm the chief scientist for the Sith Brotherhood, head of gentic advancement research and therapy as well as cloning and biotoxin development.

Interviewer: What got you interested in this form of work?

Emily: I'm here because you asked and, well, I came.

Emily: Well, since I was in school I've always been a biology person... always made me wonder and want to find out the answers. A friend of mine, Gordon Greene, was working on a project to map the genetic code. I met up with him and we've been working together since... well, up until his death.

Interviewer: What cause his death?

Emily: I'd rather not discuss it.

Interviewer: Is it true you have masterminded cloning?

Emily: No, of course not. The clone wars... the original clone masters... they invented it. I've only continued their work.

Interviewer: Where are your rumored "cloning facilities"?

Emily: Yavin 4. The only place they will be safe, past the first Sith Brotherhood armada.

Interviewer: You do not fear that a Jedi will find and demolish it?

Emily: There's no way the Jedi can get past Ntchwuedmula. Unless the New Republic were to build their own ESD, which is a ridiculous concept.

Interviewer: Ntchwehat?

Emily: Ntchwuedmula. The seventeen kilometer flag of the TSB fleet. Means the god of fire and lightning, or something like that.

Interviewer: I see. Is it true you have received funding for this research from the Rogue Imperial Emperor Fearsons?

Emily: I don't know where my funding comes from. And I don't follow our Empires polotics.

Emily: It's possible.

Interviewer: Have you ever received any holocoms or scientists from the Rogue Empire or have any connection with them whatsoever?

Emily: Not to my knowledge. It's possible some of the tmpes came here but most of the core workers have been at A.S.S. since it opened.

Interviewer: I see, is it true you helped concept the "Immortality Gen"? The reproductionary cell that prevents aging?

Emily: Our scientists have persued the theory, but regarding that project I am unable to comment further. I'm no longer on that board, it's been moved to Defense.

Interviewer: Is it true you are the lover of the one Ahnk Rashanorak?

Emily: ...where did you hear that? It's not true... I admire him... it's not true.

Interviewer: I see

Interviewer: What has been your most recent break through?

Emily: Recently we were able to ressurect the Massassi race from a frozen corpse.

Interviewer: Can you tell me anything about the Massassi? Or refresh us what the Massassi were?

Emily: We have one mature clone, and many on the way. Hopefully, they will live among us as equals.

Emily: Well, they are amazing aliens. They have human level intelligence, almost... some of our scientists studied their hunting patterns and say more. They've been extinct for hundreds of years, but we managed to find a corpse from one of the ones that survived Exar Kun's great purge frozen on the ice world of Hoth. Our clone, Par Khai, shows great promise as not only a warrior but also as a worker, and he's friendly to us at the lab, so maybe as a colleague and friend.

Interviewer: Interesting, have there been any Imperial entanglements?

Emily: The New Order keeps a keen eye on us, always. I have no doubt they have a spy among the researchers, but so far, they have not attacked.
