Why is student loan consolidation the best Option?

Ithron, anyone in the US can go to a good university anywhere they want.

The point is that you have to accept financial aid to do it, so the only reason you would declare that you are not taking out student loans as Adept has (which is what we are ridiculing) is if you plan on working in McDonald's the rest of your life.

You just have to pay back the loans when you are through, and the payback plans are reasonable and flexible enough to accomodate to your level of income. Low income people get things like Federal and state grants that they never have to pay back (I think that's unfair, they spend their extra free money allotted for school supplies on gucchi purses and beer while I struggle to keep my costs down so I don't owe too much when I graduate. One of my old roomies on such aid used her extra money to buy a gamecube), and there are always scholarships.

why the fuck does your dental program suck so much ass?

This dates back to the 1750s, and involves an Aardvark, an early form of marmalade and a Kiwi fruit, would you believe? No?

Still, it's a little unfair to criticise our tooth-management facilities when our entire health system is an inefficient, money-eating mess...

Leia, I see. The line that I was actually replying to was:

Unless you're rich, or your parents are rich, you're not going to any half-worthy School around here, College or University.

I took that to mean that even with Student Loans, "non-rich" people stood no chance of going to uni. That was what I was commenting on.

I live in Canada, dick.

In that case: In my last post, replace "the US" with "Canada", and "freedom" with...er...."Maple leaves" and "liberty" with...erm....canadian songs (?) and we're sorted.
