Oooh, a La Dispute cover. You ever get into any Touche Amore, Pianos Become the Teeth? Defeater comes highly recommended. I do hardcore vocals for a band called High Water. We're pretty big in the south Pa/Baltimore areas. You sound like the guy from SOAD by the way.

Touche Amore potentially, Defeater definitely, and I'll check Piano Becomes the Teeth out. I'll also look you up. Syracuse is a HUGE hardcore town. La Dispute was here, also Brand New. Also I think Rise Against at one point and a TON of bands play Warped Tour over near Buffalo. Rochester's a HUGE music town too. Enter Shikari, Underoath, Devil Wears Prada, Attack Attack! mostly Christian hardcore but some non-religious stuff. Most of its shit, but Enter Shikari was phenomenal, and both Underoath and Devil Wears Prada perform very well live. I got drop kicked in the testicles during the Attack Attack! set, and I'm not their biggest fan anyways so that set was a bad memory.

I also saw Alkaline Trio, Thrice, and Gaslight Anthem open for Rise Against's new album tour, like one of the first shows, when I lived in Queens.

Alkaline Trio was my jam growing up. Your music taste is fantastic, I am honored to share forum space with you. Underoath was like, my first post hardcore band ever that I loved. I have the drummer's cracked drumstick on the desk in my room, heh. I had a phase where I could listen to Attack Attack! but that was mostly Smokahontas(sp) and such.

My most listened to bands lately include Cruel Hand, Defeater, Mindset, and The Front Bottoms. The former several all being hardcore while The Front Bottoms are more indie, folky sounding. You might be able to get in them. They're extremely witty which I find endearing. In regards to your nutshot, my bassist went to a Murder Death Kill show in a gang-run town and got a finger in his eye and had to get surgery just last week. Heh. Needless to say, he's a little shook up.

Should I get you two guys a room...?

It's not going to be that same room you got me before with that big scary guy and the cameras, is it? :/

But in all respect to the great people of TRF, thanks for housing lunatics like Zark and I over the years. It's just mind boggling to look at my first posts, and my later posts, and, well, actually, all of my posts on here... and then considering where I'm at now (exactly where I started to be entirely honest ):). Some of the greatest writers I've ever had the privilege of reading were on this very forum. Great memories, and much respect to you guys. I would love to be able to write alongside each of you in this future manifestation of TRF, assuming I could even keep up...

Honestly, I gravitate more towards math rock, post-hardcore, hardcore punk, and hardcore pop. But I have tons of friends who are huge mentors and influences who LOOOVE the hard shit, so I've listened to most. Anyway, the project is...um, updated.

Three albums, two EPs and an LP. The 15th Day Miracle EP, the 16th Day Miracle LP, and The 17th Day or Ode to Darnielle EP (Mountain Goats cover album). They go from awful to tolerable in chronological order. I sang them in three days, no instrument sorry learning guitar and maybe piano, but for now crazy manic karaoke is my art form musically I guess.

Soundcloud should work natively on mobile, myspace you'd need an app for.

cached only at the moment, Titus is hard at work on the last bit of the backend and the migration programming. So when it comes back up, we should be able to begin migrating threads shortly after. I put page 1 of the Force Wars up before it went down, but I expect that'll be deleted in favor of the transferred, full thread.

Cool...

Stupid question time, are we writing here, or at the new site?
