Well ok it's not like a problem problem, just an issue. I have a Philips 19" LCD Flat TV that I use as a monitor, and my video card is a Nvidia GeForce FX 5500. The only screen resolution size that I can use is 800x600, in which I cannot play many of my favorite computer games. My question is, is there a way that I can modify or make the screen resolution larger?

Every TV is a bit different but usually there is a setting in your menu options that allows you to adjust the reolution of you tv. This way you would be able to change your setting to 1024x768. I believe it has something to do with dpi settings and so on. I would just recommend contacting Philips tech support.

What's the max resolution of your TV? It's probably limited at 800x600.

Yeah unfortunatly it is. I checked and it's stuck at 800x600. So it looks like I'll need a new monitor.
