The custom made patrol cruiser jumped out of hyperspace its engines aglow from a large hyperspace jump. It had various burn marks about its hull fresh and demised only slightly by the hyperspace jump, except for that it was a normal ship besides the blast marks. It slowly but surely crept into the star port on the far side of the station marking itself and a refuge transport of an imperial attack. The station operator was sympathetic and did not report it to the empire but did put a few guards by the door just to be safe. Unnoticed however the fact that a small transmitter was was attached to the hull and near it a small device only a few would know of or be able to figure out what it was. The 5 passengers left the craft and hurried to their corridors where the locked the doors warning everyone to stay out. Even a child could see they were worried and not going take any chances of uninvited guests.

Almost 10 minutes after the refuge ship had docked and it's passengers had disembarked another smaller ship exited hyperspace and cloaked almost immediately only making a small blip on the screen of one of the stations detection panels. The acting officer a Ithorian saw it quickly and was a little perplexed as to the source of the ghost signal and continued to attempt to find the source of the reading and was about to signal an advisor when a priority signal came through. The Ithorian officer opened the channel.

"This is the station Astral Astoria receiving, what is the problem." The Ithorian once again saw the blip on the radar screen and after another second it blinked out again. "I repeat what is wrong, you have sent out a priority alert what is the nature of your signal." The Ithorian once again saw the blip on the radar screen and was about to turn off the communiqué when a garbled message was received.

"This is the-- Star fighter allegiance i am - highly damaged and - need immediate assistance, please meet me--- in the bay to help--." The communication was cut off and the signal lost, the Ithorian was puzzled why this pilot would request him to meet but did not question too far and just decided to comply and meet the, what ever it may be, in the bay. The Ithorian decided that the blip on the radar must have been this damaged ship, he only hoped it was worth his time to. He slowly proceeded to the bay opening for the guest.

Shadow slowly maneuvered his fighter into the landing bay and proceeded to deploy his landing gear and shuddering to a stop as he landed on the deck. Shadow completed all post flight checks and powered down his engines and cooled everything down including his overstressed hyper drive engines still not calibrated right for his line of work. He gave a small laugh out as he once again registered the need for a trip to Bigs again to tweak the engines in ways Shadow can not on his own. With a small gesture he opened the hatch and watched and the 3rd wing slide back and the cockpit hatch opened. He looked around and noticed an Ithorian standing alone on the other side of the bay with a large built security guard. Shadow could see through the force that this was the operator that had transmitted to him, and also about 5 security cameras in the bay.

Shadow slowly reached into the force and touched the security cameras and deactivated them for a short period only enough to take care of the 2 officers here. With a flourish he drew both light sabers and ignited them hopping onto the floor of the bay, he threw both of them guiding them with though the force. The first struck the security guard in the chest but did not kill him right away, and with his finally breath he shoved the Ithorian out of the way causing the second saber to miss. Shadow retrieved both of the sabers and laughed a cold laugh he had not uttered in a while, ad began walking to the Ithorian.

The Ithorian was struck with horror as he watched the saber go clean through the security guard and his good friend. With the guards last breath he shoved the Ithorian away and saved him from a cold death. Now here he sat on the floor as the figure in mandalorian armor walked toward him wielding both of those lightsabers. "Please no, i want to live." The figure scowled and spoke in a cold voice, "I can't take the chance." The Ithorian blinked once and was dead as the lightsaber flashed through his skull and brain killing him instantly.

Shadow looked at his handy work and nodded knowing he had completed his task and was ready for the next stage of his plan. Nodding again he slowly walked back towards his ship and grabbed a small device with readouts and displays on it. Shadow quickly tapped on a few buttons and a small signal was sent to the large device on the outside of the refuge ship which had docked not too long ago. The device began to quiver and sent an electrical signal to the engines overloading coils and devices hidden inside the engines. With a finally charge then engines overloaded and exploded taking with it the entire ship and heavily damaging the port. No evidence was left of the device and the entire thing looking like and accident. Shadow smiled happily and continued to his quarters where he would plan his next move.

Boros Jadal surveyed the destruction of the refugee ship through the windscreen of his own ship, the Forlorn. Fate had been unkind to the Phoenix this time. His target whom his current employer had promised to pay 30,000 Republican Credits for his capture had just been flushed down the drain. The target himself as an Ex-Empire Lieutenant who had conveyed information to the Rebels had earned his long-awaiting period of torture and execution as he posed as a refugee escaping the Empire's clutches.

As Phoenix watched the fires dissipate he manoeuvred his ship to land on an empty platform. Surveying his surroundings for a second he checked his weapons were present within the folds of his robe before exiting his ship. Crouching down, he quietly moved from behind an obstacle to another. Anything could be used, empty oil drums to boxes of cargo.

Phoenix knew that the person responsible for the destruction of the refugee ship was dangerous. He or she had been mad enough to jump out of hyperspace directly in-between the refugee vessel and the Imperial cruiser chasing it. Phoenix had safely disembarked from the Imperial cruiser to chase the refugee vessel and earn his reward when both the refugee ship and the newcomer had both jumped to hyperspace. An uncommon occurence further brought to darkness by the fact that both ships had travelled to the same destination. The newcomer obviously knew what he was doing.

Phoenix unlatched his blaster and prepared for the fight ahead...
