The small shuttle graced the atmosphere with ease, its computer autopilot preforming the skills it had been programed with excellently. The shuttle was a galactic transport standard, civilian model, inconspicious, neccessary. The nose bobed down once or twice, yet he felt nothing, wether it was his own suits pressure barrier or the shuttles own gravity buffer he couldnt tell, but he was more bemused with the ring that continued to roll up and forth the cabin.

It was a golden thing, about the width of a humanoid finger. He noted an inscription, all he could make out was "To Jenna with," the roll disrupted the rest. He supposed it belonged to the amorphorus blob just behind him, another reason he was glad his suit was protected from the outside, he was quite certain it smelled badly in the cabin now.

"Now approaching Dorthal Main, 10 microns untill landing."

He placed each hand over his knees, or rather the knees of his suit as he watched out the side window, it was quite odd, but he could swear this was Coruscant. Not that he had ever been there, but he had seen the holovids, and this place bore a damndable likeness.

"This is Dorthal air traffic control, shuttle Avia, you are cleared for landing. Please proceed to landing bay 44C2."

Yet another day for the traffic controller. It was slower today than normal, some sort of holiday half the planet celebrated in the streets.

The shuttles computer system automaticaly linked up with the Anthos directory to preplot a course to bay 44C2 as directed. Technology was an amazing decoy to ordinary galactic life these days. Heviewed out the portal to the side of his seat, the spin of the shuttle not tangable as it turned to slide into the Bay itself on final landing.

Unstraping himself from the seat he walked slowly to the front cabin doors, his gait quite formed as he powered up his suits defense shield and nullifier matrix. Pressing foreward he lifted a heavy fist behind him before slaming it forward through the skin of the shuttles door. Twisting his hand he griped the outter hull, bending the metal in his hand and slowly pealed the shuttles exit like a banana before him. In no time there was no sign of the door but what appeared to be a blast hole, yet not.

Outside the shuttle a few technicians gawked at the shuttles doorway, having just watched the spectacle of seeing this man pull the ship apart from the inside. Their work going unaided as their curiosity took over in the form of spectators to an anomoly.

"Uh, Jan, you think we should stay here?"

Jan was an elderly man, having been on the workforce for many years with no room for retirement or advancement, he had no choice but to work here for the rest of his life or starve. He shook his head to the man next to him.

"I dont know about you, but Im rather curious as to see what or who that is..."

"Alright man, but Im out of here, as it seems the rest of the men are too.... good luck"

With that he stood, leaving his tools where they were and ran for the doors with the other techs as they evacuated the bay. Jan stood slowly, wipping off his knees as the crud of the innards of the scooner he was working on fell off.

From inside the shuttle Tatsu could read the heat signature of many humanoids outside the bay. Many were heading out but he could still sense at least two in the area. Stepping out he fell from the still hovering shuttle as it entered the last phase of its landing procedures. Activating his booster jets he slid along the length of the floor in the direction of the motionless humanoids heat signature.

Delaying a burst just in front of him he lifted up and landed on his feet before the man. Runing a quick scan he determined him to be human, late 60's and in relatively good health. He held out his hand to the man....

Jan secretly watched from the doors entrance as the huge form of the dark being flew out of the shuttle. He almost appeared to be a droid at first glance, but he couldnt be, he was too fluid in motion and humainoid. He watched as he flew directly towards his old friend, oblivious to his prescence, or so he hoped.

Standing before Frank he watched as it stoicly held out its hand, as some sort of gesture of greeting. Maybe it was a droid, a droid stuck in a shuttle. Wouldnt be impossible to think it wouldnt try and esc...

Frank held his hand forewards in an attempt to shake hands, his own hand quivering in fright, this creature was huge, maybe 12 feet in hieght!

"It... Its a pleasure to meet you..."

Tatsu reached past his hand, raising his hand to the mans throat. Lifting him of the ground easily he examined the mans reactions internally to him. Increased adrenaline production, heart rate rising to an incredable degree, oddly his synapses were incomparitively slow. He struggled in his grasp momentarily before Tatsu closed his grip over the mans throat, crushing it like a grape without care, throwing the now limp body to the side.

His audio sensors cought a horrific gasp from the corner of the room. The second life sign appeared from its hiding spot as Jan clutched his mouth in horror, his head peering out from the doorway as he stared at the dead body of his old friend.

The party was just getting started, and the people knew it. Pouring into the streets from homes, office buildings, and vehicles, they filled the streets. It was Dorthal's Day of New Beginnings, a holiday who's origions were lost to time. No one really cared about why they partied, just that they could party. Some partied harder than others, but all had a good time. The police were out in force as well, the jails were already full of miscreants. Only the more serious offenders were jailed today, their was not enough room to hold all the muggers, pranksters, and kids who ran afoul of the law today. In previous years the police force had let most offenses slide, justifying it as a holiday, a day to unwind. No cop really wanted to be out arresting people on a holiday anyhow. However, that had prooven to be a mistake. The death rate had quadrupled, this leading to this year's bulked up and empowered law enforcement.

Dorthal was in the streets.
