Jomark - Unknown Ruins

"You're all the light I'll ever need. Promise me that you'll never leave me.."

He'd kept his promise to her so far.

She believed that he would keep it forever.

So it was because of him that Bella still kept all that was pure locked inside of her. He took the darkness away and saved her again and again, releasing her back into the light.

Dannen made it look so easy.

Still, Bella was trapped, between the darkness and the light.

She had not asked Dannen or anyone else to save her. She felt that she did not need to be saved.

Bella found a sort of comfort in the boundry line. A drifter, but not a hopeless one.


"I think I'm ready to take on an apprentice, Dannen. I want to show you that there is no longer a reason to worry. I am well, better than I've ever been in my entire life."

Better than she'd ever been.. a truth or a lie?

Bella felt the words to be true, but that didn't make it true. No one could see it. After all, she wasn't pure anymore.

There could only ever be two people that could ever really know, Dannen.. Dannen and her master, Leia.

Bella didn't want Dannen to take her just at her word, she wanted him to see it all for himself. She wanted everyone to see.

"Let me train you... be my apprentice if only for the reason that you trust me with your life, no matter who I am or because of who I once was.. I'm still yours, just as you are mine. Keep your faith in me and become my apprentice..."

"I will always believe in you, I'll never leave you and will always be there when you call upon me."

Dannen held her close; he would always fight for her no matter the odds no matter the cost. She was worth fighting for, and even though he may have made it look easy. It wasn't himself alone; she was a tremendously strong soul, her heart full passion for life. He admired her so much, and his heart was hers, always.

"I will gladly accept your teachings." He softly gazed upon her.

He knew her to be ready; she did not have to prove that, he believed in her.

"And you are the only light I will need, I do trust you with my life…always."

Sinking peacefully into his embrace, Bella smiled at his approval, but she was not completely at peace.

Troubled by being free, she didn't know how to tell Dannen that purity was not all that she was now. Bella had a passion inside of her that existed not just for the good. She wasn't someone that could be looked toward anymore as a shinning example of what was supposed to be just. She lived now to keep peace, but not without a heavy price every now and again. Sometimes, to do good, you had to go out of your way to do a not so honorable deed. Not everything was cake and ice cream. Not everything would always be so rich and so sweet.

"I want you to find your own way of things and you will.. but you must learn that there is more to everything. Nothing is as simple as it seems. The light and the dark, they each have their benefits. This I will teach to you in due time, and you will learn not to favor one over the other. You will learn that for the force to live, that both belong. The force is able to exist equally in both life and death..."

To Dannen that was such a radical view of things, he knew that from what she said it was not going to be shades of black and white. The path that lay ahead would be a difficult, but rewarding one. He silently wondered of the last line, about life and death.

"In both Life and Death, what do you mean by that?" He asked, a puzzled tense in his voice, as he held her close.

Bella had previously always expressed to her students that the force existed within all living things, something that still held true. If one thought it did, at least.

"When a living spirit dies it is said that they have become one with the force. The dead are not always dead. They have the opportunity to live on by way of the force. Just as you and I can communicate through the force, so too can the dead. However, such a task can take many years of experience to master, though it is possible. I've done it myself."
