The Dark Lord sat silent upon the bridge of his Sovereign Class Star Destroyer the Procurator. He watched through the forward viewport as the starlines of hyperspace drifted by like a river of melted flames. Amazing colors danced past the viewport, the sight almost maddening those who witness it for the first time.

He gazed longingly at the vastness of space. It's outstretched emptiness, filled here or there by a planet or star, always amazed him. It was so all inclusive. It was what he would one day become. A beacon of Dark energies flowing through nothingness.

One more planet on his list of Darkside focal points would soon be under the Dark Lord's grasp. It was time to renew the Darkside ties to the planet of Arkania. The Jedi had protected this world from the hands of the Darkside long ago, but now it was easily within the grasp of one who would take it.

He could feel it's radiant beauty, even from this distance, as the starlines shrank once more into pinpoints of light on the black canvas of space. The planet's raw Darkside energies washed over him in the coldness of space and he knew once more, he was home. As he had felt on so many other worlds he had conquered, he felt more whole now just for having found this place. Each planet was a piece of a long forgotten heritage that he would claim for the Sith once more.

Soon all would be as it should. The planets of strongest Darkside power would fall to his grasp and increase his own powers exponentially until he could no longer contain himself in this mortal shell. Then his successor would do the same. It would likely be many hundred years before a Somir did not hold the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. Perhaps they always would.

The Dark Lord turned to the bridge commander and spoke in a cold, harsh tone.

"Inform the fleet to activate the abolisher fields and Interdiction bubbles. I do not want to be disturbed."

"Yes, my Lord. Right away, my Lord."

Turning back to the viewport he watched as the planet of Arkania grew into the giant sphere of soil which it was, and the Procurator took a standard orbit around it. He would land, in time, but for now he would feel out the surface and determine the best place to land his force and build a temple for his people.

Soon all the worlds holding Darkside power would be within his grasp, and then.. then the Galaxy.. .

The Dark Lord moved, finally, from his introspective gaze upon the planet of Arkania. He moved towards the rear of the bridge, stating to the Admiral. "You have the con, admiral." Moving with silent and deadly grace, fluid motions carry him towards his destination. He strode in silence from the bridge and into the adjacent hall, moving down the corridors in blind anticipation.

Exiting a turbolift, the Dark Lord of the Sith stood now upon the deck of his personal landing bay. The technicians and crewmen stood at attention without words as he boarded his dropship which was planet bound. Sitting in the pilot's compartment, he found himself actually enjoying the wait as it added to the suspense of yet another victory.

True, this would be an easy mission. One which could easily have been carried out by a lesser ranking officer with a smaller fleet. However, it was always enjoyable to take hold of another nexus of Dark side power. Soon he would control many more worlds such as this. Worlds which hold so much deadly energy within them. Worlds that, when combined together, would form a web of Dark Power as never before had been constructed.

Palpatine had controlled a few of these worlds, but he had never put them to proper use. He had never truly harnessed their powers. He had been a visionary, and a teacher he would never forget, but he lacked so much in the ancient ways. So much had been forgotten by his brother and sister Sith. So much they had never known about the past of their people.

Many of those who now called themselves Sith were merely posing Dark Jedi. However, many were also truly worthy of being called Sith. They merely needed direction. Direction he would soon enough provide them. The Sith Empire would once more be a grand thing, and they would all be a part of it.

The ship slowly approached the surface of the planet. Soon enough they would be upon it and the work of constructing a new temple would begin. They would harness the powers of this place, this nexus of Dark energies and funnel it into the galaxy. With many of these temples in place, they would connect with one another and form an ever expanding web of linked sources to the Dark Power. A never ending well of Dark Side energies would flow from them and fill not only he, but his brother and sister Sith with the powers they so righteously deserved.

The power that he now possessed was unmatched. It had rarely even been pressed to it's limits and had even more rarely been questioned, by anyone. However, it was not enough. It would never be enough. Not even when he finally reached a point when his mortal shell could not longer hold his energy. Even then would he continue to grow until eventually, he was one with the universe.

Such was the way with the Dark Force. It consumed and begged to be engulfed. It begged for control but gave so much more. The more you fed in, the more returned to you. It was like a machine who's power output dwarfed it's power intake. An odd paradox in a universe of order and random chaos.

Dyans stared out of the viewport and down upon the almost barren wasteland that was known as Arkania. This seemingly insignificant planet in the darkness of space held great importance to those in this galaxy. It once housed the massive Sith library that was called Veeshas Tuwan, until it was seemingly obliterated by a Jedi taskforce thousands of years ago. They had established a Jedi praxeum on the planet, in order to stop the darkness, to protect the galaxy from the Dark Side nexus there. Something they had failed to do, and something the Dark Lord currently desired, another place of power to add onto his now growing list of planets.

Turning away from the viewport on the bridge, Dyans swiftly moved down the hallways to the Sovereign 1's hangar bay. He intended on joining the Dark Lord and his forces on the planet. Not to participate in the planetary assault itself, but to visit the anicent ruins of the Sith library and the Jedi Arca's training compound. While the Dark Lord desired the Dark Side nexus that was the planet, Dyans only desired the artifacts and knowledge he could find in the ruins. Something to further regain the Sith knowledge that was lost in the Great Hyperspace War.

"Captain, have Darktrooper Team One and Team Two accompany me to the surface personally. I wish to have a field test." The Sith Lord told the Sovereign's captain as he headed down the hallways to a turbolift. He did not even bother to hear the man's reply.

Athena the wife of the Dark Lord of the Sith. Started her walk from her quarters. Her black boots clanking on the floor as she walked. Her beloved was in the command station of the ship. She hated space travel, and being on ships. She was more of a ground fighter, but she did all that was needed of her husband, without question.

Athena tried to spilt her time with her husband and her daughter whom, ran her life much like her dad.

Athena walked with her ebony black cloak that hung to the ground around her feet. Her lightsaber hung low on her waist. The door opened softly with a slight swoosh. The stars of outer space hung lightly in the sky as if something was holding them there. Silently she walked towards her husband. The dark force signature and power flooded her sences.

Still something was not right.....

Sovereign Protector and Sith Lord, Kile Hannad turned slowly in the command chair as he felt the Mistress Athena enter. His own force sense raged out around him, much the same way his master's did. He pulsed with power as he concentrated on focusing his energies for the upcoming battle.

Standing, quickly but gracefully, he knelt before Mistress Athena.

"Mistress Athena, what an honor you grace us with your presence."

Kile often displayed more outward respectful actions and statements to the Mistress Athena than he did even the Dark Lord. If there was one thing Kile knew, it was that the Dark Lord of the Sith did not tolerate disrespect of his wife, in any way. He remained kneeling until asked to stand.

"Mistress Athena, I have prepared a ship for our departure for the surface. The Dark Lord Maim shall be awaiting us there. He has also assigned for your use a squadron of assault troops. They are also ready and awaiting your commands."

The Sovereign Protector stood rigidly. His stance was militaristic and almost stone-like. His crimson cloak draped around him concealing the lethal weapons and armor contained within it. He was deadly, that much was sure, but he was emphatically loyal. To death and beyond, he was often heard saying.

The crimson hand of justice waited, silently, for the Mistress' commands.

Athena looked at Kile, although he was powerful she knew it was not her husband just before he turned to look at her. She watched as he fell to his knees before her.

" Kile stand up. And tell me why my husband left without word to me of his departure? "

Athena turned and waited for Kile to walk with her towards the shuttle bay to travel to the planet. Troops she heard him say something about...

" Kile you take the troops I will and can take care of myself, plus I hate to give orders. Unless to my apprentice's. Even though I have none at the moment. "

The Sovereign Protector walked with Mistress Athena.

"The Dark Lord felt it best not to disturb your meditation. He left me, as usual, to escort you and relay his expectations. He has taken an assault force as has Lord Rann. They will both be taking assigned areas as will we.

I shall lead your men, Mistress Athena, but I do hope you do not stray to far. It is, after all, my charge to insure your safety. When we reach the planet we will be securing a few settlements and encampments along with a vast area of.. nothingness.

I know how you do not like space travel so I have brought along a holo-opera for you to watch on the trip down, to take your mind off it. It is a very interesting piece which I screened ahead of time to make sure it was up to your standards. When we reach the planet, I shall be under your command. You may order me not to stay by your side, if you wish, but I ask that you do not.

The Dark Lord has entrusted me with your safety and I do not wish to let him down on such a routine mission such as this."

The two entered the drop ship and began departure for the surface. It would take a short time to reach the planet, but not long. Soon they would be contributing to the betterment of the Empire. Soon they would be fulfilling their duties to the Dark Lord.

Opera one of Athena's favorite things. Although her beloved didnt share her passion for music, Or the Opera its self. After taking her seat on the shuttle. Athena took the holo of the opera and started to watch it. It was one of her favorite Operas. Kile had even taken her to this perticular Opera.

" Why Kile you took me to this opera I think you forgot. And as for when we reach the ground you may stay near, just not that near. "

She rather hated having someone near her at all times. She was rather able to take care of herself. But eitherway she knew that Kile would not leave her out of his site for to long.

As they reached the planet the Sovereign Protector escorted Mistress Athena from the landing craft. He had prepared everything she might need. Hand-held sensor arrays, weapons, communications gear, and packed it all in a carrying bag. He ordered the troops to stand ready, then looked to the Mistress for orders.

"We are at your disposal, mistress Athena."
