Practice Makes Perfect(Endor)

Zeta stood at the foot of the bridge of one of many of The Naboo Sith Order's own Imperial-II class Star Destroyer's.

Ships were not one of his favorite things, only because simply, he did not understand them. He knew nothing about what it took to build a ship. He knew nothing of a ship's interior, nor really it's exterior.

Yet here he was, at the foot of the bridge, looking out onto the front of the ship, out into space, with very little knowledge about his fingertips.

He was incharge, incharge of this...Imperial Star Destroyer. All 1,600-meters of it. He led the ships course, it's destination. Anything it did. He would give the orders and they would be met. Though what orders he was meant to give, he did not know, but he would quickly learn.

He turned to face the Captain in charge, his hands clasped behind his back as he spoke. His voice full of confidence, even if he himself was not fully confident.

Zeta: "Captain Moral, set a course for Endor. We have...business to take care of..."

Captain: "Aye Sir!"

Zeta waited a moment as the captain set himself into position, making a few of his own orders to the crew. Zeta then spoke again, his voice raising a little as he did so.

Zeta: "Hit hyperspace on my mark! 3..2...1...go!"

And so, the ship set into hyperspace. The stars that were once visible, now taking on a somewhat hazy view.

Though no one else could see, Zeta's fists opened and closed tightly, a showing of his lack of confidence, but it was not evident to the crew itself.

Captain Moral: "Sir, we have exited hyperspace..."

Zeta: "Very well, Captain, proceed and keep set course for Endor."

Zeta had been looking out the main viewport as he spoke, keeping his attention focused. He drew his focus away suddenly to turn his attention toward the captain.

"I shall be in my private chambers, alert me when we approach planet or if it is a matter of grave importance."

With that, Zeta exited the bridge, and headed off for his private chambers. He had some thinking to do, for they would be approaching Endor soon enough, and Zeta was never without a plan, never.

Several minutes had passed by since Zeta had entered his private quarters. He was pacing, silently thinking to himself as he devised up a plan.

I must find a way to destroy the planet shield!

Yes, that is what he needed to do, just how he would go about destroying the shield, he was not quite sure...yet. All he knew was that he needed to find out how to do so, and think of it quickly. They would soon be approaching Endor in less than a few hours. Time flew by quickly, especially when you did not wish for time to fly by.

He continued to pace, frustration crossing his face, a bit of anger crossing his face as well, yet he knew not to let either get the better of him as he concentrated on the matter at hand.

A sinister smile formed onto Zeta's lips, the comm unit in his private quarters going off. The Captain's voice patching through loud and clear, yet Zeta stops him midsentence.

Captain: "Sir, we have.."

Zeta: "Captain, prepare the weapons...My presence shall be arriving shortly."

Captain: "Sir?!"

Zeta: anger rose within Zeta's voice as he spoke, snarling just before he spoke.

"You will not question me, Captain Moral!...."

Zeta reached out with the force, sensing the captain, feeling his presence centered at the middle of the bridge. He reached out with the force, applying his force choke onto the captain's windpipe.

"Are we clear, Captain? Perhaps I need to make myself more clear..."

He could hear the captain through the comm unit, gasping for breath, choking on his own words.

Captain: "N..no..sir..." The captain gasps loudly. "Under...stood...sir...clear.."

Zeta releases his hold on the captain, the captain gags and coughs, clenching onto his throat, as if in amazement that he is still alive.

Zeta: "Very well, captain, proceed. Next time, there will be no warning..."

The comm unit clicks off and Zeta exits his chambers, the plans he devised earlier for destroying the planet shield set in his mind as he walks toward the bridge. He whispers to himself.

"Endor shall be ours.."

So it was that the Sith Knight of The Naboo Sith Order found himself standing, yet again, at the foot of the bridge of the Second Class Imperial Star Destroyer.

His captain held a look of fear within his eyes, something Zeta fed off of. For the time being, Zeta owned this ship, and all whom roamed it. It was his to command. He smiled sinisterly, feeling a overwhelming sense of power and strength.

"Have you prepared the weaponry, Captain?"

Captain: "Indeed I have, sir, all that is needed is your given commands."

Zeta gave a silent confirmation with a nod of his head. He turned his head toward the main viewport, Endor seemed to fill most of the viewports space of view.

He recalled to memory what use of weapons he held at his disposal for use...

..There were fifty heavy turbolaser batteries, fifty heavy turbolaser cannons, twenty ions cannons, and ten tractor beam projectors...

For now, all he had to concentrate on was that planet shield. If he could somehow go about destroying that than maybe he had some chance of capturing the planet.

Perhaps he was wrong to make his crew wait for his commands, or even his demands for that matter, but the Sith Knight wanted to be sure he knew what his odds were before he even began to take action.

One Second Imperial Class Star Destroyer, along with whatever the ship held in it's hangar area, Zeta could not recall at the moment. Yet what about Endor, what did the planet have for its own means of defenses, besides that planet shield?

Zeta ventured that he would not have to ponder at such a question for long, for all he had to do to get his answer was strike one blow at the planet and then the war would begin....

A war that the Sith Knight would do everything in his power to win...

"It is time..."

He had been avoiding for far too long now. It was time for him to take action. His first command would start it all. One movement in action was all that it would take, yet that one act of action would bring about a big part of history for Zeta. History, that if the Sith Knight played his cards right, would help bring him that much closer to taking over the planet of Endor. Not only that, but the planet of Endor would be under command of The Naboo Sith Order. He had to make sure that he went all the way through with this, his brethren were depending upon him. Who knew what would happen if he didn't come home with a victory.

"Fire the turbolasers on my mark.."

He again took a good close look at the planet of Endor, his heart seemed to pound with every breath he took. He was nervous. Zeta, Sith Knight of The Naboo Sith Order was nervous. He supposed he had a right to be. This was the first planet take over he had ever done, well, at least on his one. Before he had help from his comrades, now he was alone, stuck with making choices for his Sith group, not knowing if his choices where right or wrong, but that didn't matter, it was all up to him right then and there.

Captain: "Sir, we're in position. The planet's shield is within perfect range."

Zeta took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly, trying to make it not noticed, but he was sure he had failed at that. He cleared his throat, nodding his head.

"Fire!"

He watched as the turbolaser zoomed through space, quickly making its way toward its desired target. It launched forward in a straight like fashion. It hit the planet shield within a matter of a few more seconds, a small explosion following. Small perhaps by Zeta's view, but nonetheless, it did some damage.

"...Again.."

He raised his right black gloved hand, indicating that two turbolasers were to be fired, one right after the other.

So it was done, one turbolaser zoomed through space, a split second after the other turbolaser being fired, in perfect succession.

He had raised a hand to pause, scanning the planet yet again. Yet now he knew he was not alone, for even Endor had its own defenses. The defenses were made clear as two TIE defenders quickly made their way toward the Imperial Class Star Destroyer, their intentions no doubt were to destory the Destroyer's fire power.

Now things were not so simple, not so simple indeed....

"Pull them in," was all that the Sith Knight said.

Perhaps Zeta had not made the right choice, he could have easily destroyed the two TIE defenders, his tractor beam projectors were very limited.

However...Zeta wished for visitors aboard the Destroyer, and he would get them. He wanted to use them more than anything else, he had not intent on killing them, well, unless he did not get what he wanted.

"Bring the pilots of those two defenders to me...unarmed," He said through clenched teeth, though his crew seemed to be used to this means of anger, they all seemed to still make sense of his words when they were not made totally clear.

"We shall make plans to discuss...business."

Who knew how long it would take him to destroy the planet shield. Besides, he didn't want to waste what weapons he had.

He had not thought things through clearly. He should have discussed first and faught later, if need be. He had gone about it all the wrong way.

Now though, now he had hostages, perhaps not important ones, but they were still people nonetheless. Perhaps expert pilots, after all, the planets defense had sent them out first, hadn't they? Though perhaps their strategy was different, maybe they sent the weak first, and saved the strong for later.

In the back of Zeta's mind, doubt arose, yet he surpressed it from coming forth. Doubt clouded the mind, and ruined ones performance in the long run. The Sith had never handled such a mission like this, on his own. Yet he knew he could not look back, how would he learn unless he continued on? He had started this, he would finish it, regardless of the outcome.

The occupation of Endor was in its thirtieth week. The defenses of the forest moon had fallen--most of those being out dated Imperial technology that dated back to the Second Death Star era. However, the most valiant opposition to the Naboo Sith Order’s forces had come from a band of Force-sensitive exiles… exiles from the Naboo Sith Order’s past.

Those exiles possessed limited control over the Force and were obviously no match for the mighty Sith Order. Now under containment, the exiles were under constant surveillance by SOG troopers.

When news that a gang of moderately trained Naboo Sith reached Xa Fel, Poreon immediately left the capital planet and traveled in his personal spacecraft, the Darkscar, to Endor. He took command over Zeta’s operation and immediately began interrogating the exiles. The things he found out…
