Chris quietly moved out of the exit of the ramp on the space port on Naboo... he only had his backpack with him and a few other processions, but to this 12 year old boy, these things were priceless. He moved out onto the streets of Theed and looked around in silence, half wondering, half wishing to get to this new life set before him. He gently started to move away from the crowds, they started to bother him... he wasnt sure how he would do in such a setting, such a big place but he had to find them, they was important.

He started to walk in a direction, pulling from his backpack a map and looked about, he moved quietly into the city

Amalia quietly sat in the Rebel Cafe, looking thoughtfully at her empty water glass.

That was just the way she felt too, empty.

The days seemed to go on without her, though she still knew she moved and carried on with those days.

There were too many quiet moments in Amalia's life now. Not that she did not wish this, but she longed to have the not so quiet days too.

She knew that better days were meant and would come for her, she just had to be patient. Until then, she would ride out her quiet days to the best of her abilities.

There was bound to be something new that came along her way...

He looked around quietly studying the map, he quickly head into the cafe, he was hungry... darn ships never served any good food for the prices he could afford...

He walked into the cafe and counted the credits, bread and water it would be it looked like. He quickly ordered this then took a seat looking around, his tummy grumbled but he got his food which he half devoured, he had to find someone...

Amalia's sulking seemed to subside slightly as a young boy caught her attention.

He'd caught her attention because of the way he was devouring his food. He was being somewhat loud as he gulped and swallowed his food.

Amalia observed that he most likely had manners, he just had not ate in a very good while.

The boy stopped eating for a moment, long enough to see Amalia at the next table over. He lifted his head and smiled slightly, bread crumbs could be spotted on the corners of his mouth. She noticed his dimples that came into view when he smiled. Amalia smiled back and then watched him go back to devouring his food again.

poor guy...

He smiled at the woman but finished off his food a few moments later, he gently wiped his mouth and looked at her a moment, half wondering a moment. He gently moved to pay for his food and looked at her for a long moment, his eyes almost fixed on her features, but then his tummy gumbled and he sighed, looking at the door a moment half wondering if he should go.

Amalia watched the boy pay for his food after he finished eating.

The Jedi Master only frowned as she watched the boy look away from her onto his empty plate and then at his stomach.

He's still hungry, and you know what? I don't mind...

She let her thoughts leave her as she smiled, carefully getting up from her table to walk over to his table.

"Now that won't do, will it? We can't have a growing boy starving to death..."

She smiled lightly, her eyes slightly pleading with his.

"Mind if I help you out? Anything you want, it's on me?..."

He looked at her carefully a long moment, "how about just some meat and bread Ma'am? I would like it alot... sorry I dont have anything in return, I am just looking for a few people... I will work if you want to pay for this," he said looking at her

She looked at him sweetly.

"I do not want, nor do I expect anything in return, but Thank You for the kind offer."

Her smile grew and her gaze fell onto the bar.

"I'll be right back, " She whispered, still glancing over at the bar as she stepped away from his table.

As she got to the bar, she leaned against it. From the boys point of view Amalia was talking to one of the waiters behind the bar, yet also looknig back at the boy. She pointed towards him for a moment and the waiter nodded with a smile, Amalia returning the smile.

She moved away from the bar and then quickly made her way back to the table.

"Alright, it's all set. Mind if I sit?"

She gestured to the chair across from his seat.

"I'd like to get to know the young man I am feeding, " She said with a slight grin, half smile.

He nodded to her carefully as he watched her, he looked at the seat and then at her, "Sure... I think you can... just a sec, I think I might have, well... after food, I am hungry, ok?"

He looked at her a moment before leaning into wisper, "Chris Liberi..." he looked at her a moment and nodded, he stretched a moment, and sat up straight with proper manners as he remembered being taught, waiting for her next instruction

She could not help but laugh lightly as he told her he wanted to do more eating rather than talking.

"Alright, fine by me...I'll just sit here and keep you company while you eat."

She wanted to know more than just his name, but that would have to wait. She decided it best to ask him yes or no questions, that way he could simply shake his head while he was eating.

Chris' food came in no time at all. She watched him take a bite and then swallow quickly.

"Taste good?"
