((Note: This thread takes place shortly before the resurrection of Dark Lord Maim on Korriban.))

<hr>
Dravin slouched down in the pilot's seat of the Oblivion's Kiss, his modified Firespray-31 patrol and attack craft, which cruised silently under cloak through the darkness of space.

The Sith Lord's destination was the Sith necropolis planet of Korriban. He was drawn to the planet by the call of the fallen Dark Lord of the Sith, who was gathering the Sith loyal to him in the Valley of the Dark Lords in order to bring him back to the physical world.

Relaxing in the seat, Dravin turned his mind backwards to the events that had dragged him from the Dark Lord's meeting with the Naboo Sith Order on Vjun. During that meeting he had heard his old master's call through the Force, not a call but a command, to return to his homeworld and carry out one final task.

He'd slipped out Bast Castle, unnoticed by the Sovereign Protectors and Noghri, and made his way through the Force storms Maim had summoned in the Oblivion's Kiss. The cloaking device on his craft had kept him hidden from the various sensor sweeps and scans that protected the planet. Once he was out of range, he had dropped the cloak and made the hyperspace jump to his homeworld, Alusion.

Alusion was a backwater world on the edge of Wild Space, and on the border of the Unknown Regions. This forgotten planet had come under the control of his master, Cyril Rendel, a fallen Jedi Master who fled the Jedi Order some odd decades before Dravin was born.

Once he had arrived on planet, Dravin found out the reason his old master had summoned him to return, and what his task was to be.

Alusion - Main Capital Citadel: Several Months Earlier

Lord Rann, the future Dravin Thane, stode through the hallways deep into the Capital Citadel's core, which echoed with the sound of his boots making contact with the cold tiled floor. Several armored guards followed him closely, clutching their glaives tightly to their chests.

The group neared the end of the hallway, which led to a pair of massive armored doors, guarded by two of the soldiers of the same garb that accompanied him. The two doors slowly retracted to a darkened chamber when they came within several steps of them, but only the Sith Lord entered, the protectorate remained outside with the two other soldiers, in the hallway.

Dyans slowly approached the throne located in the center of the chamber, and knelt down upon one knee. The robed figure beckoned him with its hand to rise. "Come, my apprentice. It has been such a long time."

The Sith Lord rose from his position on the floor, then silently walked up next to the throne and looked down upon the figure. "Master Rendel, it has been a long time. Why did you summon my person from the Dark Lord's meeting?"

"Because," Cyril said as he pulled himself out of the throne, "it is time for your final transformation."

His old master, who once stood tall and strong, now relied on a wooden cane, which he violently shook upon whenever he walked and even when he stood. Reduced to a fragile old man, his master looked up to the apprentice, eyes full of hatred, yet with a hint of triumph.

"During your apprenticeship, I have transformed you from the cowardly little boy I found wandering the streets to the Warrior that stands before me. I have transformed you into a ultimate creation, but it is now time for you to surpass your Master and make the final transformation."

Dyans remained silent and still.

"Strike me down," Cyril said with his voice full of hatred, "and complete your training as a Sith."

Reaching for his lightsaber upon his belt, and out to the Dark Side, he let anger and pure hatred flow through his veins, through his whole body. Dyans raised his lightsaber above his head and ignited it's crimson blade. And with a flash of anger and light, the deed was done. His master, Cyril Rendel, laid upon the floor of the throne room, sliced cleanly in two halves down the middle of his frail form.

Dyans raised the crimson blade of his lightsaber above his head again and shouted out in triumph at the top of his lungs. The shout echoed in the massive chamber, which attracted the attention of the guards outside the door.

The squad came rushing into the throne room, armed with their glaives. They slid to a halt upon the site of their fallen Master, and the Sith Lord standing over the body with his weapon ignited.

The Sith Lord's gaze fell upon the soldiers. "Emperor Rendel has fallen to my blade, and I now take his place as the Emperor of Alusion. Bow before your new Emperor, Dravin Thane."

The squad dropped their glaives, as well as to their knees before the Sith Lord.

* * * * *

The word of Rendel's demise and the rise of Lord Thane spread quickly across the planet. The military quickly swore allegiance to the new emperor without question, as if the whole situation had been planned out long before it occured. Dravin controled the world with the military under his control, but the population was another matter...

That had been how he seized control from his former master, just a slash from his lightsaber and he had become the Emperor of a planet. It had been so easy, yet he felt that the job wasn't done.

* * * * *

Alusion - Outside the Main Capital Citadel

A small crowd had gathered outside the main enterance to the Main Capital Citadel, which served as center of Emperor Thane's regieme. The crowd was lead by a slightly balding old man, who had a very large Wookie by his side.

The crowd roared when Emperor Thane emerged from the Citadel and stared down upon them, he was alone, without any guards. It was a prime time for the crowd to rush him and take him down, who was there in the first place to voice out against the new regime.

The old man boldly took several steps up the dozen or so steps that seperated the crowd from the Emperor. "Dravin Thane, you have been charged with high treason against people of Alusion, as well as the murder of our Emperor! Do you have anything to say for your actions?!"

Dravin remained silent, and unmoving, staring down upon the crowd without emotion. He felt a knot of anger rise up within the old man when he did not reply to his shouts.

Reaching out with the Dark Side, the Sith Lord began to whirl large amounts of Force Energies around himself and the crowd, and as he did so, the wind picked up. He created a vortex centered around the old man, and began to slowly gather the whirling energies into his body, condensing them into a tiny ball, until he released them. The Force Energies expanded rapidly, ripping the old man's body apart and spreading his intrails across the stone steps.

"I am your Emperor now," he said to the crowd with a dark smile upon his lips.

The crowd remained silent, paralyzed with terror at the site of the minor display of the Sith Lord's power, but the Wookie wasn't paralyzed. The massive creature breathed heavily, enraged at his friend's death.

The Wookie went into a beserker fury and charged at the Emperor, roaring at the top of it's lungs. This act was meant to scare the Sith Lord, so his defense would be weak against the Wookie's attack, but he only stood there silently, without fear, awaiting the creature's assault.

Raising it's clawed limbs above it's head, the Wookie struck down at the Sith Lord, intending to rip his chest open. But Dravin intercepted the attack by grabbing the Wookie's arms and twisting them downward, which threw the massive creature off balance.

Dravin grabbed onto the creature's fur just below it's belly, as well as it's throat, and lifted the Wookie above his head with ease. The Wookie roared and flailed it's limbs about violently, trying to escape, but it did not succeed. The Sith Lord gritted his teeth and slung the frightened creature towards the Main Captial Citadel.

The Wookie slammed into the building with a loud thud, shattering several large chunks of stone as it did, and then stiffly slid to the ground. Dravin quickly walked over to the creature as it slowly staggered to it's feet, barely able to stand. The Sith Lord lifted up the creature again and slammed it back into the building, this time the furry creature limply fell to the ground.

The Sith Lord then grabbed the now dead Wookie by the hair on it's neck and drug it back to where the crowd was, leaving a crimson trail behind him. He lifted the creature into the air and tossed it down the steps, letting it roll down to the crowd, which was yet stunned again at another display.

"This is what resistance brings," he said coldly to the crowd.

Fear emanated from the crowd, Dravin had sensed, but that fear slowly turned to anger, and that anger quickly turned to hate, which they directed toward their new Emperor. Grabbing what weapons they had on theirselves, the crowd began to charge the Sith Lord like the Wookie did, shouting at the top of their lungs.

Dravin grew tired of the event, he stretched out his arms toward the crowd and let loose with a powerful Force push that sent the people of their feet. He followed up the push with a massive blast of Force lightning from his palms, which he directed through their bodies, ripping the flesh from their bones.

He turned around and headed back into the Main Capital Citadel, satisfied that the demonstration was good enough to instill fear within the rest of the population of his planet.

* * * * *

That event had been recorded by one of the Captial Citadel's security holocams, and then later broadcasted to everyone on Alusion. Soon the planet's population lost all hope in throwing off the chains of slavery from their new Emperor, and they quietly settled down, yet again under subjugation.

Many had wondered how Dravin easily bested a Wookie in the physical contest, but that was how he had been created. During his training as a Sith apprentice, Cyril had alchemically altered his body to be faster and stronger than many humanoid beings, as well slightly smarter. That did not include the torturous alterations that Cyril had made to enhance his connection with the Force. His blood was combined with several other Jedi Masters and Force Adepts, which included a few samples the fallen Jedi had managed to aquire from several of the permanant members of the High Jedi Council.

Dravin may not have achieved the perfection his master had envisioned, but he had came close to it, very close to it through constant training during his apprenticeship. He had spent every waking moment practicing or absorbing information of some sort in order to further is training, whether it brought him an inch or a mile further, he did it.

And his master encouraged it.

Rendel did not keep one micron of information that his datacards and holocrons contained from his apprentice. From the forbidden art of Morichro to the most basic meditation technique, Cyril hid nothing. Nothing except for the knowledge about Dravin's last and final transformation that would make him a new being.

Dravin had his homeworld and it's people under his domination, not even the Sith Acolytes that served under the Master Rendel dared to challenge him. With no opposition to his leadership, he sat back in the throne room of the Main Capital Citadel, his Sith Citadel, and began to quietly drain the life essences of the population of Alusion. Much like Emperor Palpatine did on Byss.

Once the Sith Lord had his fill of the life essences of his people, grown powerful in the Dark Side of the Force, he soon began to cleanse the planet of it's population and turn it's lush forests into a barren wasteland.

* * * * *

Alusion: Emperor Rendel's Death, 2 Months Afterwards

Lord Thane sat silently on his throne in the darkened chamber, much like his master had right before his death, but he wasn't focused on his immediate environs. His mind was elsewhere, remotely viewing the death of his people, and leeching off the life essences from those who died.

Alusion - Tieos

Bright green turbolaser fire rained down from the smoke-filled sky and slammed down into a small business building, instantly turning it into slag. Smoke billowed up from the newly formed crater and added to the smoke that rose up high into the planet's atmosphere.

Another turbolaser barrage rained down upon the port city, turning another city block into a crater of slag, which poured more smoke into the sky. Several Carrack-class Cruisers were in orbit just above Tieos, performing pinpoint turbolaser strikes on the city below, being careful not to destroy sections of the city that was swarming with the Emperor's soldiers.

Though sometimes mistakes were made, they would be over-looked.

After several hours the troops had cleared and nearly acounted for all the citizens in Tieos, making sure they would forever remain there. Then the Carrack Cruisers let loose a general bombardment upon the city, turning the once majestic finacial center of Alusion to a dark stain upon the planet's surface.

One of many.

* * * * *

That was how Alusion was cleansed of it's population. Armies would swarm whole cities and kill their citizens, after they had looted anything of value or worth and took select citizens from the population as slaves that would be held in the Emperor's Sith Citadel.

Then, once the troops were finished, or almost finished, the starships in orbit would rain down death upon the cities and reduce them to smoldering craters. After the cities were dealt with, the regular trooper regiments gathered into groups under the command of their Emperor, and then bombarded from orbit by the captial ships, much like he had done with the cities.

Once Dravin had freed himself from the burdens of his armies, he had his fleet circumvent the planet, razing it's surface until all that remained was a barren, life-less wasteland. Then, with his powers in the Force, he brought down the fleet upon the planet to complete the mass destruction. All was destroyed, except his Sith Citadel, which stood alone on the surface of the planet.

Though he had completed the geocide of his people, and the self-destruction of his military, he still had one final task to complete. During the final days of Alusion's population, a group of Sith Acolytes and Lords conspired against his regieme, they quietly plotted to take the planet and military from his grasp. But he gained knowledge of their plans, and instead of destroying them, he decided to destroy the objects they were after... then he would eliminate them.

* * * * *

Lord Thane sat on his throne in the darkened throne room, in a deep meditation that plunged him into the abyss of the Dark Side. His concentration was focused on his meditation, leaving him oblivious to his surroundings, or so the others who watched him in the shadows thought.

Two robed figures, cloaked in black emerged from the darkness behind the throne, lightsaber hilts held tightly in their gloved hands. They paused for a moment before circling the throne, to make sure the Emperor hadn't pulled himself from the meditation, but to their knowledge he hadn't, so they continued.

The Sith Acolytes looked down at the unsuspecting Sith Lord with a grim satisfaction. They ignited their lightsabers and readied themselves to plunge the blood red blades into the Emperor and complete the task their superiors had commanded them to perform, but they halted. To their suprise, the Sith Lord's eyes flashed open, and a dark smile crossed his lips.

Before the two assassins could react, a wave of fire exploded from the throne, knocking them onto the floor and consuming their bodies. The assassins had failed in their attempt to kill the Emperor, fail miserably.

The doors of the throne room flew open as a squad of armored guards poured into the chamber, their blaster rifles and melee weapons in hand and ready. Dravin leaped off from his throne with lightning speed and drop-kicked the nearest guard, landing square on his chest. He then fliped off of the guard before he could land on the floor, igniting his twin lightsabers in mid-air, and then came down on the guard behind the first, plunging the left blade into his chest.

A trio of guards finaly reacted, lifting up their blaster rifles and firing at the Sith Lord, but he easily deflected them with his lightsaber blades. He then continued on through the squad, hacking and slashing them to pieces until none were left standing, or alive.

Dravin then turned around to the two chared corpses of the Sith Acolytes and searched them for their lightsabers. Finding the weapons, he dropped both lightsabers to the floor and crushed the hilts under the heel of his boot. He then took the focusing crystals from the remains and stuffed them in a pocket hidden in his robes.

That was how the first assassination attempt went, just only two Sith Acolytes and a small squad of soldiers were sent to dispatch the Emperor, a token force. They only managed to take out several guards before entering the throne room and being killed themselves.

It was an insult to the Emperor that such a weak force was sent to murder a fully-trained Sith Lord, and a greater insult to him personally due to the fact that the conspirators thought him that weak to send such a meager force to eliminate him. But he soon sought them out, and made them pay.

* * * * *

It had been several days since the assassination attempt on Emperor Thane, and five suspected Sith Acolytes and Lords were found dead in their sleeping chambers, lightsabers smashed and focusing crystals stolen. Many had suspected Dravin was behind those deaths, and they were correct.

Dravin had eliminated those who posed a threat to his power, to instill fear in the conspirators behind the assassination attempt, and as well to sever any attempts by his conspirators from gaining even more power and support.

Alusion - Main Capital Citadel - Lower Levels

Three cloaked figures gathered in a darkened atrium in the lower levels of the Sith Citadel, the skylight several stories above opened up to a sky full of dust and ash that blocked the sun out, so torches served as light sources for the private chamber. The figures spoke in mumbles and whispers, afraid of those who might be listening in on their conversation.

"His power is growing to quickly for my comfort," said the tall and thin figure, wrapping his cloak tightly around his body.

The tallest Sith Lord remained quiet in contemplation within his massive armored hull, while the feminine figure beside him spoke up. "Perhaps we should accelerate our plans?"

A silence fell over the three before the massive one spoke up.

"No, have patience... we will take this world... and then expand to others and put them under our control. Just have patience..."

Dravin smiled as he peered down onto the three from the skylight, as the two other Sith Lords nodded in agreement with the massive one. He'd been listening to their conversation the whole time, gaining knowledge of their plans and knowledge of their identities.

The massive one was Lord Onyx, a powerful melee combatant encased in a thick layer of personal armor that could resist blasts from lower powered artillery weapons and even lightsabers. He was the most influential of the three.

The tall and thin figure was Lord Kent, a greedy and power-hungry Sith Lord who specialized in Sith Sorcery and Alchemy. He had made several secretive attempts to remove Cyril from the throne when Dravin was still in training.

The final conspirator was the Lordess Allania, like Dravin, she was one of Cyril's alchemical creations, modified to kill with great efficiency. Unlike himself, Allania was created with a bodyguard profile in mind, and it was highly unusual that the Emperor found her to be part of the traitorous pack, but she would be dealt with as well. It didn't matter to him, they would all be dead.

A smile crept across the Emperor's face as the three continued to converse below, completely oblivious to his spying, but that would soon end. Dravin leapt up from his crouching position and down into the skylight, shattering the glass into millions of shards as his armored body broke through it.

Rapidly he fell down several floors before slowing himself slightly with the Force, just before his feet crashed into Allania's chest. The Sith Lordess slammed onto the ground with a loud thud, her body crumpling under the force of the impact. Dravin then flipped off the top of her body, igniting his twin lightsabers in mid-air, he came down upon Lord Kent.

Unfortunately, Kent already had his blue bladed lightsaber out and in a defensive stance, his blade intercepting Dravin's attack before it could land. The Emperor touched down on the ground just behind Kent, and twirled the crimson blade in his left hand around and jabbed it towards the traitorous Lord's spine, but Kent intercepted that attack as well, slipping his blade in under Dravin's.

Dravin then applied pressure against Kent's blade while he slid the lightsaber in his right hand into a reverse grip, and then came in over the two blades with a powerful slash that decapitated Lord Kent in one clean stroke.

He then turned around to find Alliana upon her feet with two light repeating blaster rifles in her hands, not what the Emperor had expected a Sith Lord to carry about as a weapon of choice, but ranged weapons had many advantages over a melee weapon such as a lightsaber.

The Sith Lord raised up both of his lightsabers in full-defense when she unleashed several barrages of blaster fire at him. With speed and precision, Dravin deflected each and everyone of the blaster bolts back at Alliana, who was already flipping and dodging to evade. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't fast enough, and one of the blaster bolts caught her in the left knee while she was in mid-air flip.

Alliana gave out a short cry before she slammed into the stone floor face first, then bouncing back into the air as she did. Her body finally slid to a stop, and she struggled to stand up with her shin barely attached to her leg.

Dravin knocked the traitorous witch to the ground with a Force push, which snapped the rest of her shin off with a loud wet crackle. She cried out in pain, tears coming to her eyes as she grasped for the unattached limb. A smile crossed his lips as the Sith Lord felt her suffering through the Force, like a wave of pain and anguish amplified by the feeling of her impending death as he slowly walked toward her huddled form.

Leaning down to the Sith Lordess, Dravin deactivated both of his lightsabers and clipped them back to their rightful places on his belt. He smiled as he ran his gloved hand across her face, but she only growled.

"I expected more from you," the Emperor said simply as he stared deeply into her dark brown eyes.

The Sith Lordess stared back, her eyes full of terror and pain as Dravin placed his hand upon her neck and squeezed it gently. Alliana's heart rate increased as he did so, but he let go, savioring the fear he had induced upon her. Slowly, her heart rate began to decrease in relief, but Dravin chopped down on her throat with the knife-edge part of his open hand.

Her throat collapsed instantly from the attack. Alliana let go of her wounded leg and grabbed at her throat, desperately trying in vain to get oxygen to her lungs. Dravin stood up, watching gleefully as the woman struggled as her life slowly faded away.

And it did.

The massive one had disappeared into the shadows during the fight, content in watching Lord Kent and Lordess Alliana battle it out with the Emperor to their deaths. Which he had hoped would weaken Dravin, but the fires of hatred still burned brightly within the Sith Lord.

Dravin knelted down to the lifeless body of Alliana and picked up the two light repeating blaster rifles she had dropped during their fight. He then stood up and faced the massive one, who was stepping out of the shadows on the far side of the darkened chamber.

Lord Onyx stood quietly in the torch light, nearly twice the Emperor's size with his thick personal armor wrapped around him. The traitorous Lord was a very intimidating sight to behold, but not to Dravin, he wasn't afraid of the large pile of jagged metal that incased the humanoid within it.

"Impressive," uttered Lord Onyx. "Your skill is most..."

"Shut up," Dravin said simply as he raised both of the blaster rifles in the air, crosshairs hovering over Onyx. "Just shut up... and die."

A powerful flood of hatred washed over Dravin as he opened himself up to the Dark Side of the Force, immersing his body in a vast darkness. Time seemed to flow like cold Frill Syrup around Dravin as he squeezed one of the triggers on the rifles. The crimson blaster bolt exited the chamber, then slowly sailed through the air to Lord Onyx.

Dravin began to quickly squeeze the triggers on the rifles, lighting the chamber up with a hail of blaster bolts that seemed to glide slowly through the air. Soon, he had expended both clips of the blaster rifles, a total of nearly a two hundred blaster bolts that had not even reached their target, yet.

Pulling himself out of the vast sea of darkness he had opened up his body to, Dravin watched as time quickly catch up with itself. Dozens upon dozens of blaster bolts drove into the chest plate of Onyx's battle armor, knocking him back several inches each time before he went flying through the air and slamming into the wall behind him with great force.

The Sith Lord let the two blasters drop from his hands and onto the floor, their barrels glowing red from the intense heat of the greatly increased fire rate he had put them through. Lowering his arms to his sides, he stood there quietly, waiting for the massive one to make a move.

Slowly, Onyx pushed his massive armored body up from the floor, grunting loudly as he did so, and finally stood up to the Emperor. There in his chest plate, a gapping hole existed that burrowed almost to his bare chest. Red hot metal that surrounded the hole slowly dripped down to the floor and began to cool, but the hatred in Dravin did not cool like the super-heated metal did.

Lord Onyx reached down to his belt and unclipped his lightsaber from it. Pointing the emitter towards the Emperor, he ignited the crimson blade of the usually large weapon and gave out a low, beast-like growl. The traitorous Lord opened up to his anger and hate, and then charged the Emperor while he let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Dravin quickly grabbed his lightsabers and ignited them, while he charged at the massive one in return. Nearing Onyx, he positioned his left lightsaber on the right side of his body at a slight angle, with the hilt pointing to the ground in front of him. He kept his second lightsaber behind the first, in a reverse position to that of the other.

As the two combatants came within several paces of each other, Dravin came down with the lightsaber in his left hand in a vertical slash that threatened to slice Lord Onyx in two halves, but it was blocked. Onyx had raised his lightsaber blade over his head, parallel to his chest, blocking the crimson shaft of energy from making the fatal blow.

This is what the Emperor had wanted from the charge. Using Lord Onyx's lightsaber as support, Dravin pressed down with his laser sword and flipped into the air over his massive opponent with ease. About halfway through his flip, in mid-air, Dravin quickly and cleanly decapitated Onyx with a slice at his neck.

Onyx's body took several more strides before it fell under it's own weight, and slid across the chamber under the momentum of the charge, while his head rolled and bounced a little farther before coming to a stop.

Dravin, on the other hand, had completed his flip and landed with grace in a knelling position on the floor, his twin lightsabers barely an inch from the ground. He deactivated his weapons and put them away once he heard his maneuver had met with success, and then turned around to complete the deed.

Calling upon the Force, Dravin reached out and brought Lord Onyx's and Lord Kent's lightsabers to his hands. Dropping them to the ground, he smashed both of the hilts under his armored heel, and then kicked the focusing crystals out from the debris of the weapons.

Looking over to Lordess Alliana's corpse, he felt it over with the Force, search with invisible hands for her lightsaber. He soon found it strapped in a harness upon the small of her back, hidden under her cloak. Dravin ripped the weapon from the harness with the Force and brought it forth to his hands. Doing the same as he did with the two other traitors' weapons, he smashed the hilt apart and liberated the focusing crystal that was inside.

The Sith Lord then reached in his robes and pulled out a black bag, large enough for him to grasp it with one hand. Openning the bag, he let it's contents spill out over the three crystals from the lightsabers he had just destroyed, which were in fact more focusing crystals. Crystals that came from the lightsabers of those Sith Acolytes and Lords that had worked with those who conspired against him, and had fallen to his blade for that crime.

Knelling down on his knees to the pile of crystals, he began to utter a prayer in the ancient language of the Sith. Dravin could feel the spirits of those Sith who he had slain float around him. Louder he continued on with the ritual prayer as a wind storm erupted within the chamber, picking up dust in the air and whirling it around violently.

Dravin pressed on with the ritual until the wind died down, and the conspirators' spirits materialized to the physical world. Surrounded by a dozen or so enraged spirits with supernatural powers would have frightened even the most hardiest of warriors, but not Dravin, he only smiled as the spectors began to close in on his "defenseless" form.

Tapping into the black abyss that was the Dark Side, Dravin siezed each of the spirits in a brillant latice of energy as he mumbled the last line of the prayer. He could feel the spirits' pain and terror as they were slowly dragged down to the pile of crystals and absorbed into them. The chamber echoed with their disembodied screams until finally the last spirit was absorbed and bound within it's crystal.

With a dark grin upon his face, the Emperor gathered the focusing crystals back up into the bag and tied it onto his belt. He could feel a spirit within each crystal, their power burning like hot coals in a raging fire, just ready to be tapped by anyone who was bold enough to make the attempt.

"Well done," a ghostly voice echoed through the chamber.

Dravin stood up quickly and looked around the darkened chamber, jerking his head from side to side, trying to find the source of the voice. Suddenly the transparent spectoral form of his fallen master materialized before him, floating several feet above the stone floor. The Sith Lord did not answer his master's comment, only stared at the spirit with a look of triumph upon his face.

"What are you staring at?" The spirit asked out in confusion, as well as in fear of the Sith Lord.

Reaching into his robes, Dravin pulled out a small red crystal and held it out in the palm of his hand. The spirit recoiled in horror at the sight of the rock and the realization of what he was planning on doing with it. The crystal, in fact, was the focusing crystal from the spirit's lightsaber.

Doing as he did before, the Sith Lord reached out with the Force and trapped the spirit of his fallen master in a latice of Dark Side energy, immobilizing it as well as causing it a great deal of pain and agony. Focusing on the crystal, Dravin slowly dragged the spirit into the crimson stone and bound it with the Force.

"Now... my final transformation is complete," Dravin said as he dropped the crystal into his pocket with a feeling of satisfaction eminating from deep within himself.

* * * * *

The constant buzzing of the navcomputer snapped Dravin out from his thoughts of the past, stopping him from reliving his memories. Sitting up straight in the pilot's chair, he glanced over the control console and noticed that the craft was ready for hyperspace.

Dravin pulled the safety straps around his body and tightened them as he buckled them in place. Dropping the cloak around his starship, he took one last look at the stars before he plunged the Oblivion's Kiss into hyperspace.
