I saw it on Friday and my conclusion is: it's a worthy remake and I recommend.

I liked it thought I would say Morgan Freeman's voice needed to be louder. A friend of mine had not read the book or seen the older movie and so was in confusion as to what happened. I guess his mind was still processing as ol Morgan's voice was speaking and so missed the explanation.

I liked the movie. I just can't get over when Tom Cruise is crying he looks like he's laughing which throws me for a second.

Overall, yeah, it was good.

I'll make a note to go see it, whenever I have free time next.

I liked it. The special effects were bad-ass. Loved watching people get zapped by the aliens though. And Tim Robbins was in there, which makes it cool. He was also digging a hole....which was weird...

i rented the original WoTW and it really seemed they followed the movie through think and thin. the first WoTW i was pissed in the end that we only see the hand. the new one redid that scene in a cool way. of course, many questions were left unanswered... unanswered in the way Reeves acts.

I would have enjoyed the film more were it not for my own hesitations regarding the nefarious Scientoligist Tom Cruise-Gay-Bar.

That, and I'd have had to pull over and dump those kids in the nearest ditch.
