Spore!

So I went out and picked up a copy of Spore yesterday. I thought it looked interesting and I'd played around some with the creature creator. I'll admit that the game wasn't how I thought it would be, but I'd like to say that it was actually better than I thought it would be. In fact, this game is great. It's so easily enjoyable and addicting. I played it just about all day yesterday instead of doing homework and it was totally worth it.

Recommendation: Get it.

PC only, correct?

Truthfully I'm waiting for Force Unleashed to blow too much time on.

Yeah, PC only, but worth it. And yes, Force Unleashed looks good.

I thought about getting it the other day. I got Grid instead because I've been wanting a good racing game for my new computer for a while.

I got the trial version of Spore and have made some interesting looking creatures. Two of my friends have the full version and while one wasn't impressed with the kingdom part of it they got fully addicted to it. My second friend is using it to test out societies he's creating for a book.

Basically I'm sticking with the trial version so I don't get addicted to the other part of it, as I adore building societies even for aliens.

I picked it up a few days ago and I gotta say I'm really impressed with it. One of the cooler features is how customizable everything is. You can really give your species and their society distinctive looks. I just started on the final phase, the space exploration phase but I'm not that far into it. From what I hear the final phase is bigger than all the others combined so we'll see how it is once I get through this phase.

There's a phase after the space phase? I haven't had time to beat the space phase yet.

No, the space phase is the one I'm on which is supposed to be bigger than all others combined.

Would you recommend it? I was going to buy it but I'm reluctant to purchase more games when there's half a dozen I'm still working on. I'm like 2/3 of the way through BioShock, half done with Oblivion, messing around with Grid, and right now I'm plowing through Crysis: Warhead. And next month Far Cray 2 AND Fallout 3 come out!

How creative are you? If you enjoy creating content and etc, you'd enjoy it.

If not then you'll get bored fast.
