Anyone else picked this up? If so, I'd be interested in pwning it up with or against you online.

For those who are interested, I think its an excellent game. It doesn't reinvent the RTS genre in any way, and it doesn't revolutionize the gaming industry. But its a very solid, fun to play, new RTS game. The people behind C&C do what they do best in C&C3, make a good RTS game. And it continues an old but great story.

Oh, and it features live acting, with a literal orgy of nerdcore cast members. Josh Holloway (Sawyer; Lost), Grace Park (Boomer; Battlestar Galactica), Michael Ironside (Lieutenant Jean Rasczak; Starship Troopers), Tricia Helfer (Number Six; Battlestar Galactica), and the return of Joe Kucan as the evil mastermind Kane.

Oh, and of course one cannot forget. BILLY FUCKING DEE WILLIAMS (LANDO FUCKING CALRISSIAN; Star Wars).

The acting is a little corny, but in a good way. And I've been having fun with the game so far.

Michael approves.

The whole C&C series has kicked ass (though I've never played Generals). This one looks pretty stellar - GDI vs Nod?

Yeah, it follows the same story arc as the original Command & Conquer, and Tiberian Sun. It is set after the latter.

Vodo is right. And it starts as GDI vs. Nod, and in a fucking awesome way. But later in the campaigns, and third, alien race, known as the Scrin invades. I haven't gotten that far, so I don't know what is what. But I've seen videos of them in action, and they look sweet.

I'm picking it up sometime real soon. Possibly picking it up tomorrow when I'm at the mall, if not I'm picking it up tuesday/wednesday (I'm out of town this weekend, otherwise I'd for sure have it this weekend). At that time I'll play you michael (and probably get my ass handed to me, I was never the best at RTS games online, but oh well). Then you can come here and brag, I give you permission in advance.

I own or have played pretty much all the C&C Games. Red Alert 1+2 were the only games that had naval assets. Generals was awesome with the ability unlocks for each team. Of course, I always preferred the U.S. Fuel Air Explosive;

MEC Soldier 1: Oh noes, look, a big US bomber!
MEC Soldier 2: Run for your lives!
MEC Soldier 3: Too late, it's dropped a big bomb!
MEC Soldier 4: Look, it detonated. But there is no big explosion!
MEC Soldier 5: What is that green mist though?
KABOOM!!!

Of course, using Aurora Alphas to bomb Chinese Infantry carriers was also fun.
