Airsoft Advice

I want to buy an Airsoft Rifle. I'm looking at something like this but as you'll note; thinkgeek cannot ship that item within Canada.

So I'm looking for advice.

1.) Where can I find trusted online resources for order and shipping within Canada of Airsoft products?

2.) Gas, Electric or, Spring - I'm pretty sure I want an electric hop up but I'm willing to investigate Gas or Spring. Any words of caution?

3.) I do not want a transparent shell, I want something that resembles the real thing. I'm looking at FN SCAR, M4 or other 'assault rifle' types.

Any help?

http://www.airsoftgi.com/ This is a good site, a couple of my friends highly recommend it and it carries most beginner to high quality guns, and i'm pretty sure they ship to Canada.

Upon investigation I see that the above mentioned unit is a total Piece Of Shit.

Metal > Plastic.

So, assuming I wanted a good entry level airsoft gun, anyone have any ideas what I should be looking at? Something that I won't have to upgrade out of the box and won't cost me a fortune but capable of being tuned while at the same time remaining reliable.

That was in reference to the weapon I linked previously, not in reply to your sage and extremely helpful advice. Seriously, that site rocks. I'll probably buy from them. Thanks.

But also this gun is a pretty good one, a cheaper one but still reliable and well made gun, i got it recommended to be by the people at that forum above - http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1974 .

Yes, I had almost settled on that unit myself.

Thank you for all the help. You brought the cheese, and I the foot. Good on.

You paid $150+ for a gun that shoots little plastic balls. That would get you like, ten subscriptions to the best porno websites...
