I have held my tongue for most of the duration of this thread, however, your most recent post has caused me to gnash my teeth!! :p

The Trem Clan of the Bothans had supported the Empire for many years, and even though the Empire had been forced to retreat from Bothan space with the advent of the Wrath Virus, their support had not waned. General Boone, under whose control fell the ISF and all their operations, knew this fact and planned to make use of it. Upon the orders of TNO High Command that Bothan Space once again become an Imperial possession, he immediately set the wheels of Bothan politics turning.

As he strode through the halls of the Imperial palace (a privilege, to be sure), he was already planning ways to contact the Bothan clans and prepare ground support for an Imperial attack. As it was, he didn't have to do very much.

I don't think you or Marth even realized this, but there is significant TRF canon involving the Bothans.

Why did I even get involved in this thread?

Because I was the former head of the Bothan faction at TRF.

DO SOME BLEEPING RESEARCH.

I have tried to correct inconsistencies (such as explaining away why not a single BOTHAN MADE VESSEL rose to defend the Bothan homewolrd) with my commentary... but this is ridiculous.

It make no sense for any Bothan clan to support the Empire. The Empire has never controled Bothawui (at least not to my knowledge) and they didn't retreat due to the Wraith Virus.

Search the battlegrounds and you might reflect the previously established canon... and not disregard the work I put in regarding the Bothans.

Sorry - I was going specifically off what was said in the third post about the Trem clan. Albeit, Marth posted it, but since it seemed to be established in the thread I didn't see a problem with it.

“What about the Trem Clan? Have they given up their support of the Empire yet?”

Devarn laughed at this. “Hardly, they’ve even started to gain a few converts to their side. I’ve heard reports that the Asyr clan was going to support scrapping our military and joining them.”

“Not surprised. The weak will always try something desperate.” Oleg muttered. “And after the way they handled themselves at Corinth, having the Imperials protect us might almost be an improvement.”

With that already in the thread, I saw no need to do extra research. However, if you wish me to change the post, I will, though it may take some time to do so.

Im aware that there is already a lot of history.

However I figured that when you have a group of over 600 clans that isnt very united always at least one will support an extreme. There's always extremists thats life.

Also I figured things might have changed slightly since your reign as boss of the Bothans ended. I've tried to at least skim most of what you've written concerning the bothans and for the most part I've tried not to completely fuck anything you've written. I'm aware that I will miss something so if I do please point it out.

Many Bothans died to bring me this Big Mac.

It's all well and good to preserve the canon. But when that information isn't readily available, should we allow it to be the catalyst for a story going stagnant? All of this could easily be discussed via PM and thus; kept from the public eye. Some timese these things flare up.
