Since there has to be OOC bickering and argument, let it be condensed into a single thread to keep the board free from spam...

My post covered spraying the estimated point of hyperspace reversion with a wide arching blast of cannon fire. Wyvern cannons are an assemblage of different weapons in one, so thus the arching blasts would be quite covering in the length of space they would be firing at. This coupled with the fact they were not firing at a sensor ghost, but the readings that led them to suspect that what happened to the first well was about to happen again, they would have hit the fighter coming in.

Your post is wrong, I accepted the fact that an established NPC wasnt going to be killed and requested you make it another fighter then, I still request as such. You have far too many 'established' NPCs Dolash, you wont be hiding behind them for the war or else I will be killing them for your exploiting them in such a way.

The Ambassadors of Truth (Mon Calamari)

Your edit to the last few paragraphs dont make sense, please clarify their meaning

Taken from The Ambassadors of Truth (Mon Calamari)

Ships descended from both sides, the rapid Swords launching volleys of deadly Projector fire that turned the startled enemy fleet into a crossfire of massive boulder-like ammunition - ships were struck from different directions and crushed, or torn in two.

So your telling me, on their entrance to the system, your immediatly decimating my entire fleet in a single paragraph?

Obviously not, considering after that he said "Lets just kill them and get on with it", meaning the fleet wasn't destroyed, some ships may have suffered some rather extreme damage or smaller ones might have been destroyed (like fighters, pickets). But the whole fleet clearly wasn't destroyed, nor even the majority of it.

Then id like clarification on which ships. Fighters I could see, but the rest were sizeable, heavier ships that wouldnt crack under a single post of fire.

So I know for my own reference.

Aside from Staff members, who actually should be posting in this thread?

...So theoretically everyone?

Anyways, that bit about Mon Calamari - that wasn't destroyers buckling and exploding, more fighters, maybe small gunships and things. The larger vessels might take a thumping, but this is more of a surprise attack thing, getting in a few hits while you're organizing and then falling back. Nothing to get antsy over.

Okay, *Cracks fingers* Let's take a look at what else is the matter.

On the Chandaar thing... seriously, is it that big an issue? It's one friggin kill, leave my fighters alone! :p I gave my reasoning already in respons - the Cyphers are made hard to see and harder to shoot. You wouldn't have sensor ghosts, just eyesight, and since that would show you seven images I just wrote that you hit one of the reflections. Let it go, man, let's just move on. It won't tip the tide, it will have no strategic ramifications, and if you target an officer you have to be ready for the possibility that they'll have some tricks up their sleeve. There'll be plenty of killing to be had once we get there, which we would be if you hadn't demanded me to move through every well in Black Dragon space and write it out.

Also, it appears we still have Teth issues to discuss. About the missile. I don't really accept your "Missile cut in half" reasoning, because simply put I have a shield and the shield was turned on. I wrote a fair post, where a missile got through the armed defences of the planet but crashed nonetheless. The only counter you have to that is 'One gets through anyways'. You've fired plenty of other missiles, at other worlds, so just relax and focus on one of them instead, eh? Let us move forwards on this or we'll never get anywhere.
