RP Project Proposal

I have an idea for a series of RPs that helps to re-establish the emergence of the Sith Order as well as the first Sith versus Jedi plot we've had in a while.

Ok then, Part I of the Army of Darkness Volume:

Darth Necros is looking to recuit loyal followers from various gangs of mercenaries and pirates to help lead his army that is being created on Corellia. On one particular planet he goes to, he finds Damalis being a member of the band. He becomes somewhat emotionally attached to her and asks her to join his army and become his personal aide. She outright rejects him, and the passion and rejection seal Darth Necros within the Dark Side of the force, as well as firming his resolve. In a blaze of hatred he takes out the mercenary band and gravely wounds Damalis. Before he can kill her he is stopped by a Rogue Jedi, Irtar Mal'Gro. Irtar, with Damalis, head to the Jedi base to report on what has happened and to seek medical attention. Darth Necros returns to Corellia where his Army of Darkness is ready for it's debut test. And that concludes Part I.

Part II:

Darth Necros, seeking retribution against Damalis and Irtar, leads his Army of Darkness to the world where the confrontation took place at. Although the two are at the Jedi base right now, Necros leads an invasion of the planet and brutually subjugates it, killing most of the populace, and capturing intact the remainder to serve as slave labourers. In the meantime, Damalis trains as a Jedi to go back and give Necros a taste of his medicine. They eventually arrive back at the planet to see it deserted, except for the corpses of the populace and the ruination of the planet. The Galatic Coalition, appalled at what has happened, points fingers at TNO. Simon Kaine responds by dispatching his vaunted Jedi Corps to take care of the threat of the Sith. This concludes Part II.

Part III:

The Jedicorps arrive on Corellia and engages the Army of Darkness. The Jedicorps get badly mauled and retreat. Simon Kaine, furious over what has happened, does the unthinkable, and betrays the Sith by revealing their location to the armies of the Coalition and the Jedi. The fleets launch in to engage the Army of Darkness. A titanic space, air, and land battle erupts. In the midst of it all, Irtar and Damalis confront Darth Necros. Necros gains his revenge against Irtar, badly mauling him, but then Necros makes the mistake of undestimating Damalis. Damalis kicks Necros's butt, but instead of slaying him, merely walks off to attend to Irtar. The Army of Darkness is defeated and destroyed, and Necros retreats into hiding. Simon Kaine, realizing the mistake he made, jumps into Corellia with a war fleet to ensure that Corellia does not fall to the Coalition. The fleets of the lightsiders withdraw. And this concludes the series.

To be honest, it would have to be worked with a bit to use Damalis...

Think Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farms.. that's Damalis' personality. With a little bit of a club girl.

Now, switch Damalis to a prisoner of the pirates, considering she is a merchant who frequently travels, and you have a place to start her from. I can see her rejecting someone who shows her he's outright evil, since she always thinks everyone is a nice person until it's shoved under her nose to prove it. No problem with her being injured.

She wouldn't train, but she could be talked into serving as bait. And she'd happily comply with jumping to conclusions about who caused the destruction because she's a person who feels her emotions deeply but doesn't always think it through.

Damalis would have to be an underestimated fighter since she can't fight at all. The fact that she would attack at all would be surprising and that would be the only way she'd win. It would have to be a one blow type defeat, attack from behind thing...

Changes like that would be the only way Damalis would win.

Ok see the revised proposal I sent you in the PM. I've already re-thought out the RP along those lines...

And one blow is all it would take.

Ok, now where is Irtar?

Okay... so the basic idea of it, Mr. Necros is making this fancy lil' band of pirates/mercenaries/what-have-yous and stumbles upon a cute blonde (Damalis), whereupon he becomes so smitten and horny for her that when she turns him down it strikes a pain in his black heart. So Necros switches to badass-mode and takes out an entire band of mercenaries (six or seven type band or are we talking a more numbers than fingers sort of thing?). Luckily, after he wounds Damalis with his inherent wickedness, Irtar the Rogue Avenger steps in and saves the day, and the duo toddle off to the nearest Jedi base to give cry of, "Oi! Some dark-side bastards causin' a stir, he is."

Thus ends part one.

Part two, Darth Necros leads his badassery Army of Darkness (so evil it has an "A" and a "D". None of that lower-case drivel) to the planet he went crazy-darkside bastard on to reap revenge. Only, Damalis and Irtar are sipping tea and discussing their day with some Jedi but Necros decides "What the hell. We're here, let's subjugate and slaughter." Army of Darkness cheers and goes to its dirty, bloody people slaving business.

Meanwhile, Damalis is becoming so very Jedi-awesome so as to get back at Necros and his evilness. I presume Irtar uses this time to learn to juggle.

They head on back to planet-town, only to learn that Necros has had a bit of a fit and everyone is now all corpsified and disgusting. Well damn.

GC becomes shocked and appalled, because they're like that the goody two-shoes, and starts saying "Oh no you didn't!" to TNO. Simon quickly responds, "Whoa! Don't go there! Nobody wants that!" and sends the Jedi Corps to give the Army of Darkness a righteously good smacking.

End part two.

The Jedi Corps find the Army of Darkness and have a little scuffle, where the Army of Darkness applies a wallop and the Jedi Corps retreat. Simon has a fit, and calls up Regrad and says, "You know? Those Sith and Army of Darknessers are bastards." Regrad says, "Yeah, let's get those bitches."

And then they switch to Ass-kick mode and head on off to Corellia. Oh, and the Jedi too so I suppose I post something too.

Then there's this really big space battle, because there always is when there's an Army of Darkness involved. Yada, yada, Irtar's a wimp and Necros is cool, but Damalis is cooler.

Simon suddenly realizes "Oh, fuck. Corellia." Jumps in and through his Omnae-goddery, chases the lightsiders off.

The End.

Is that the idea of it?

It's going to take months to a few years before Damalis is Knight-level. Even if she faces Necros as a low-level apprentice, Irtar's going to be stronger because he's had more training. Although she has had more IC-experience than Irtar.

It's an... interesting idea. But I think it still needs some work.

LMFAO. Yeah that's pretty much the idea, although the pirates and mercenaries are like troop leaders, with me hijacking some cloning vats and turning out some mindless cannon fodder. Plus adding a few Kath hounds and Rancors to the mix.

And about Damalis, I had planned for the fight with Irtar to be a narrow thing where I barely beat him, am worn out, and like head over to her, raise my lightsaber for the final strike, but she lashes out, and in one fell swoop, strikes down the leader of the Army of Darkness.

Well, the rancors and kath hounds seem a bit much. As for the cloning vats... I'm sure the Empire has a few lying around somewhere.

So long as you don't take it too far with the Force and such, it should be okay. Use common sense and all that.

I haven't read anything except for Silus's badass rendition, but right off the bat:

Army of Darkness has got to be the most disgustingly cliche name ever. Come on, man. You can do better.

Hmmm.

How about Dark Desires instead?

Forbidden Pleasures?

Deeds and Delight of Doom?

As the sun sets, Darkness falls?

Irtar beating someone then getting beaten up by him eh?

Sounds like fun.

And Silus, it's true. Irtar IS the Rogue Avenger of teh Awesomness.

As for the Rancors, bring 'em! I'm twice the man Luke is! THRICE even! Luke doesn't even show his pansy self!

EDIT: Oh, and get ahold of me on IM or PM if you please so we can hammer out details.

And call the army, the Army of Kick-ass! You know you want to ;)
